My whole being desired Skylar.He gets me all hot and bothered in simple action.He talks..hard on,He smiles ..hard on, he- I'm sure you get it.I won't lie when I first saw Skylar I lusted after him hell I still lust after him but there's something else there .He..he intrigues captivates me in so many ways.
It began after he rejected me when he came back to the table and he spoke.It was in the way he talked ,his intelligence and his noticeable stubborn ways that had me drawn me to him.Not only that but the way he treats his mother you can see how much love and respect he has for his mother and that made me like him so much more.
"Jack dear are you okay? You kinda spaced out there for a bit."Natalie Skylars mother ask voiced laced with amused concern.
"Yes I'm fine "I answer back snapping out of my daze taking a bite out of the delicious brownie.
Natalie had invited me over for lunch since she was quite lonely and I'm the only neighbor she knew beside nosy Marjorie. So I came over after reviewing some documents and working on some new marketing for the company. As promised she served me Sandwiches ,Homemade brownies and Lemonade.
"Who's the lucky woman?"She asked simply making me at her with a stunned expression "or man?"
Completating on what to say I finally sigh and say "Just some man"keeping short and simple admitting some but not A lot at the same time.
"Ah I see"Natalie sing songs slightly smiling before gathering her hair up into a bun seeing as we was outside and it was super outside today.
"Yeah how did you know?"I ask after nodding agreement.
"It was the look in your eyes the way, your lips would perk up at random times and most of all the way your mind and heart was somewhere else"She responded in a duh tone still smiling as bright as before .
"Wow"I mutter as my mind ask 'how does she know all about this
"I use to know the feeling"Natalie answers as if she's reading my mind as flash of hurt and pain enters her once joyful eyes but she doesn't have time to dwell on the thought as the house phone rings making her get up and answer it.
While she grabbed the phone I was left in thought .I had forgotten she was once married.How did it end? She must of loved him. Does this mean the feeling she thinks I'm having is love?Love?I pondered on it which didn't last long as Natalie came back in frantic.
"Skylars in the hostpital he passed out "Natalie cried grabbing her bag before stopping at the door as if realizing something "I forgot my car won't run and I had plans to bring into the shop tomorrow"
"I'll take you"I say

I sit in the hard hospital chair staring at Skylar. He hadn't woken up yet and Natalie had went to grab coffee leaving me in here which I didn't mind.I grabbed his hand without thinking.
Skylar started to stir awake and soon enough he opened his eyes and stared at me and our locked hands. Coughing slightly he asked "What am I doing here?"
"You passed out in front of your boyfriends house"I replied saying boyfriend with a bitter undertone
"Doctor says you have a high fever and you passed out due to stress"
"Oh"He answered simply "What are you doing here though?"
"I was with your mom when the call came in and plus I was concerned"I replied honestly
"Concerned?"Skylar questioned
I nod answering back with a soft "Yeah"
"It's ex boyfriend by the way"He told me leaning back keeping his gaze on me.
"What?"I ask questioning him hoping that I didn't hear him wrong.
"I'm breaking up with him"Skylar states as I lose myself in his gaze.
"I care for you" I blurt out surprising myself making him grin slightly.
"I may care for you too" He murmurs blushing a light pink shade.
The door clicks open as Natalie returns worrying over Skylar and even as conversation flows I noticed
something.
He didn't let go of my hand not once and my heart raced absouelty loving that..
Absouelty loving him?
