((Author's note: this is my practice writing Tiina. It may be a bit OOC. This is only one of her letters per week, more are sent, but this covers the main lines))

Dear Lukas,

It's only been 4 weeks since You came to this outpost, but it feels like years without you being with me. Oh how I wish i were here with you. Although I know I would dread all the war and guns, as I know it is not suitable for a lady such as myself.

It may seem quite forward for me to say, but our new neighbor, Matthias, seems to be well suited for your sister. I would love to introduce them. How old is Emilia now, 17?

The other neighbor, Berwald, came over again today. He asked about you, and how long you'd be away. We talked about small details, like how the weather in Sweden is. He says he's glad it's not as bad as Denmark. There, if you are tired of the weather, he says, wait a few hours, it'll change!

He also complimented on my new hair cut I got. Enclosed is a picture of it. I think it's quite charming, and he seemed to think so too. I hope you think the same. It's much shorter than previously. The stylist said 9 inches was chopped off!

I'm very sorry I don't have very much to write about. It's been very boring since you are gone.  Would you be up for date night when you get back?

Sincerely, Tiina
