"Come on Belle! GIVE ME THE REMOTE!" A young man yelled.

"No way I'm not watching Spongebob it's a dumb show like you! You doo-doo head!" A girl yelled back.

"Nice come back." He scoffed.

Welcome to another beautiful Saturday at the Valentyne house, where the two eldest children were fighting over a remote. . .again.Their mother was making snacks and trying not to off her own children with the knife in her hand. Their father was up in his study on the phone for work. And their darling little brother was down for his nap.

"C'mon Belle seriously I'm not watching this. Give me the remote." Thatcher the eldest of all three groaned.

Thatcher was a junior in high school, played baseball like his father had, and had a wonderful girlfriend Leevy. He had just gone through a growth spurt, going from being 5'6" to 6'1" over the summer. Thatcher has brown hair styled in his normal do. He had his father's blue eyes and charming personality.

"Please Addie Austin & Ally is the best show out there." Belle replied, the second eldest an only girl.

Belle was in 8th grade, she had her mother's short fuze and temper, and like to curl up with her laptop to watch make-up tutorials on YouTube. She only stood to her brothers shoulders, a full foot shorter than him. Belle was adorable with her long curly brown hair and her father's blue eyes causing a ruckus among the boys her age.

"Lee don't call me Addie, you know I hate it when you call me that. How about-" he started.

"How about you two be quiet before you wake up your little brother from his nap. You know if that little demon doesn't get his sleep he will be the spawn of satan. So either keep it down or I will kick you all out so your father and I can have "alone time." Their mother, Sawyer, hissed from the kitchen doorway.

Sawyer was her late thirties but had the face of a twenty year old. She had blonde curly hair that seemed untrainable, with soft brown doe eyes. If you looked close enough you could see the silver highlights. She was a stay at home mom to her three children and loved every second that is, unless her youngest didn't get enough sleep.

"Mom why does he even need a nap he's eight." Thatcher grumbles shivering in disgust at his mother's words.

"He takes naps because he's the only one that has an alternate personality when he's in a bad mood besides your father." She stated walking back into the kitchen.

"Fine how about a movie?" Belle asked quietly.

"Iron Man 3?" He asked.

"Uh yes please!" Belle said excitedly.

"MOM!" A little voice called from up the stairs.

Sawyer walked out of the kitchen glaring at her children on the way up the stairs to the voice.

"Oh man Addie mom is going to kill us." Belle said wide eyed staring at the stairs. "You think she would really kick us out with him?"

"Wholeheartedly." Thatcher nodded.

THUMP THUMP

Two backpacks landed at the bottom of the stairs.

"Yup we're going to Aunt Lucy's for the night." Thatcher sighed.

Belle sighed, "Again?"

THUMP

A third backpack landed on top of the other two.

"Yes Lee again." He replied looking at the backpacks.

A few agonizing minutes later Sawyer stomped back down the stairs followed by the children's father and their little brother in his arms. She glared at her children before turning abruptly and heading back to the kitchen.
