The past week has been an emotional rollercoaster. Not just that, a lovey, heartfelt, gushy rollercoaster. It's too much for my angsty heart to take. But... it is comforting knowing that they do care.

Everything with my past has made me realize something. My past doesn't define me, that part is obvious. But it doesn't define my future either. I can make whatever I want of it.

And that doesn't mean that I'm going to be best friends with Princey. Just... good friends. As long as we can tolerate each other, we'll be together.

"And Anxiety continued to hide his feelings for the hot persona-"

"Get out of my room, Princey!"

The prince smiled smugly at me as he watched me write in my journal. I closed the book and put it away. "Can I help you?"

"I just wanted to see my best friend~!"

"We're not best friends," I mutter and pull my hood to cover my face. "But thanks for checking on me."

He smiles and sits on my bed by me. "You need to come see me. This won't work as a one-way relationship. Plus I can't come in your room for more than a few minutes," he added.

"There is no relationship. Stop giving the shippers fuel for the fire."

He laughs and stands up. "Alright, dearie. But you better come out soon. We can't get used to you if you're never there." He goes to the door and opens it.

Logan and Patton are standing just outside the door. Logan nods stoically and Patton just looks like he's going to have a fanboy heart attack. Roman walks out to join them and looks back at me.

"I'll catch up with you."

They all said their farewells and left the doorway standing empty. I retrieved my journal and opened it to the most recent page.

But most of all, from this experience, we all lost and found something. Logan, Patton, and Roman all lost a friend, but in a way they made another one. And me? I lost some things too. I lost my confidence, my self-worth. But the thing I gained makes up for it. I found friends, but most of all, a family.

A/N Hooray! It's done! It's still short, but the next fanfictions are going to much better! If anyone wants to see that, follow me or just check back every now and then! And btw, I do like Prinxiety, I just like poking fun at it. ;) Thanks for sticking with me! Stay awesome!
