Part 16. Light

[SHIHO TODOROKI POV]
All these memories about my dad and Shoto were filling my head. Ugh, and my battle is next too... I walked towards the stage where thousands of fans were roaring and screaming our names. This is the guy that beat Momo huh, ok, weakness to light...

Prez. Mic introduced us both to the crowd. Calm down. Think, I closed my eyes and tried to think of a strategy.

"Start!" Mic screamed. I popped my eyed open. Got it.

Tokoyami was coming at me with his shadow at full speed. I smiled. "Hyōton! Garden of Roses!" I shouted. Dark Shadow just passed through them.

"Hm, you do know that Dark Shadow can pass around things like this," Tokoyami yelled. I dodged most of his attacks, but one clawed me in the leg. The wounds cut open as soon as I tried to land.

I fell on the concrete, which made a small dent. "Yes, I do know that, but do you know that ice reflects the sunlight right?" I smirked. The dark bird looked stunned.

I slowly tried to get up, but with my leg in that shape, it was pretty hard. The shadow got smaller as more of my roses appeared. "And did you know that fire produces heat and light?" I laughed, he stuttered.

"Katon! Inferno Blast!" I blew fire from my hands, spinning right towards Tokoyami. There was a huge explosion when my fire and roses clashed. I covered myself with my arms because of all the dust, but when it cleared he was out of the boundaries. I fell to the ground in exhaustion. I guess I used more energy than I thought... The blood from my leg leaked through my pants, and on to the cement.

"It is over! With that explosion of fire and ice, Shiho Todoroki is our winner! We will be moving on to the semi finals with Iida and her brother!" The crowd screamed.

I stood up and bowed to Tokoyami, and then I hopped off the stage and into Recovery Girl's room.

"Shiho! Oh dear come here," she lead me to one of the beds and patched my leg up.

"Thanks," I lay down on the be, and passed out.

Hey guys hope you liked the chapter! It was sorta a short fight but it was short and sweet haha. I'm planing something huuuuuuuge for something after the tournament. It had something to do with Persona 5!

That game honestly changed my life, so I thought of incorporating it into this. Any guesses for whats gonna happen?

The Naruto fanfic is on hold until I finish this fanfic. Hope you understand!
