Part 18. Partners

[THIRD PERSON OMNISCIENT POV]
"Semi finals... start!" Prez. Mic yelled into the, well, microphone.

The spiky-haired boy ran straight towards his opponents, while his partner stayed back.

"Take this!" Katsuki tried to bomb the others, but they dodged just in time. Or so they thought. A huge explosion hit the cement, causing debris to fly everywhere, and left a hole in the ground.

"Katon! Briliant Flame Jutsu!" The multi-coloured hair girl blew bright blue fire from the right arm, going straight towards her brother and Iida.

[KATSUKI BAKUGO POV]
We first need to take down the engine guy, then icy-hot comes next. I smirked, and threw another explosion towards Iida. It was easy to make a strategy against someone when their twin sister is on my side.

They were falling perfectly into place, just like we wanted.

"I won't miss this time!" I yelled, and I actually hit! But only the foot. It was enough to stall him so the icy-hot girl could come in.

"Hyotōn! Binding Roses Jutsu!" She clapped her hands together, and BOOm. There went Iida. Roses popped out of the ground and tangled around the engines around his legs.

I yelled and threw an explosion his way. He flew out of the stadium faster than I could make fun of Deku.

"Woah! Iida is out of bounds! Now, it is a two versus one battle!" Mic screamed. He needs to shut up sometimes...

[SHIHO TODOROKI POV]

"Katon! Great Fireball Jutsu!" I weaved hand signs and blew fire out of my mouth, aiming straight for my twin.

He made a ice wall trying to protect himself, but the fireball burned straight through.

"Oh! Shiho fired a huge fireball! Shoto has fallen, will he get up?" Mic voice cracked. Ouch.

I felt bad. He is my other half, after all. I looked over to the crowd, trying to find my dad; but I couldn't find him.

-flashback! (The waiting rooms)-
"Ok girl icy-hot, whats the plan for your other half?" Bakugo slammed the table as he sat down.

"First, don't call me that. Second, don't yell. Third, we get rid of Iida first," I crossed my arms and thought for a bit.

"Well, got anything?" He yelled at me. I clenched my fist and punched the table.

"Shut up. I'm thinking," I said back. He gave me this mad and irritated face.

"Now listen here halfy, don't talk back to me or I'll kill you, ya hear-" the "king of explo-kills" flung his chair back and stomped over to the other side of the table.

"Hyotōn, Rose Dance. Release. " I stood up after thinking for a little bit.

"You know, you and I are quite alike," I smiled. "Here's what we're going to do..."

-end of flashback!-
"Yeah, we are alike," Bakugo smirked and ran straight towards Shoto with explosive hands, but something was wrong.

Shoto lowered his head and put his flames out, like he was going to stop fighting, and Mr. explo-kill was coming full force at him.

"Wait Bakugo stop!" I yelled. There was no way he could hear me. The adrenaline was blocking his sense of listening to reason. He just wanted to kill my brother.

"Hyotōn! Rose Dance!" I weaved signs and tried to stop him from blowing my brother too the moon, but I was too late.

"Shoto!"

There was a huge explosion that blinded for a few seconds and threw concrete and ice all the way outside.

When things cleared up, all I saw was Bakugo yelling at my unconscious twin. I rushed over as fast as I could, shouting at Bakugo to put him down.
