*Author's note*

Well here is yet another romantic oneshot that I have been waiting to do. And in honor of Sebastian Stan's bday I thought I'd post it up today. I'd also like to say this in advance that if I get any military thing wrong PLEASE let me know b/c I do NOT want to offend anyone. And for any Veteran out there or if any of your family member/friends that are suffering from PTSD I have linked a video to the ACTUAL facility that REALLY DOES EXIST that I have mentioned in the story. So if any of you know a Vet suffering from PTSD, fill free to link the video to them and see if they are interested in wanting to volunteer at the actual LARC facility. Now warnings of PTSD, mentions of being raped *just a brief mention NO FULL DETAIL* other than that nothing else. I hope u all enjoy this and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBASTIAN STAN!!!!!!!!!!

"But Buck...."

"No Steve I can't do this, I won't do it!"

"Can't you at least try?"

"Those shrinks will make me feel like I'm crazy! Like what I did all those years didn't even happen!" Bucky screamed at his friend.

"Can I say something?" Stated Scott who raised his hand.

"I probably wouldn't if I was you tic-tac" stated Sam as he drank his beer.

"What is it Scott?" said Bucky.

"I actually have a friend back in California who works at a special sanctuary for Vets. It's unlike anything I've ever heard of and it's really helped her out a lot".

"What is it they do?" asked Steve.

"Here its best I show you the YouTube video". He handed Steve, Bucky and Sam the tablet and they watched a video called "Living with Wolves Saved My Life". As they watched the video, all three ex Veterans were amazed about what this sanctuary was.

"I mean I've seen therapy dogs do wonders, but wolves?" said Sam.

"I thought wolves were just vicious, dangerous animals?"

"See Cap, that's a typical stereotype right there. My friend (y/n) has been obsessed with wolves ever since we were kids. And when she got out serving 11 years in Iraq, and she found out about this place, she immediately packed her bags and moved to Lockwood and signed up to be a volunteer. Now she's the new Assistant Manager of this place. She's even sent me some pics with her and her timber wolf Thranduil".

Scott then pulled out his phone and went to his pictures and pulled up a picture of a woman with (h/c), (e/c) and standing next to her with her arm wrapped underneath the neck was a beautiful grey timber wolf.

As Scott was talking to Steve and Sam more about the sanctuary and how his friend got involved, Bucky couldn't help but stare in awe at the beautiful creature in the picture and he wasn't talking about the wolf.

"Bucky? Buck!" Bucky snapped out of his daze and turned to his friend and Steve said, "What do you think? Wanna check this place out instead?"

"I think he wants to check something else out and it ain't the wolves if you know what I mean" Sam chortled.

"Hey man cut it out! (Y/n) is like a little sis to me so that's my sister you're talking about!" Scott snapped.

"Yeah let's go, this could be worth looking at, plus it won't charge me every hour". It was then the guys all packed their bags and took off on one of the quinjets and headed off to California.

They arrived at the San Francisco airport and once they landed they would first stop at Scott's place to settle in then they would drive the 2hr and 54min drive to Lockwood and arrive at the Lockwood Animal Rescue Center.
