Mabel led Percy to the Mystery Shack's main room, where he saw a red-haired girl sitting behind a desk and a fat guy sweeping a broom across the floor. The girl looked up. "Oh, hey, Mabel. What's shakin'?" Mabel grinned and stepped to the side, holding her arm towards Percy. She also looked at the guy with the broom. "Wendy, Soos, meet Percy. He's from another universe." Soos walked over and raised his hat a little. "Sup, dude?" Percy smirked and shook Soos's hand. "You remind me of a friend of mine." Wendy walked up, her hand raised for a fist bump. "Hey. From another universe, huh? That's cool." Percy gave her a fist bump and nodded. "Heh. Yeah, well, it's kinda cool being here. So, how can I help prepare for the party?" Wendy and Soos gave Percy a list of things to do, and he got to work. Once he was done, the party got started. Guests began to arrive. Along with two government agents. Dipper tried to impress them by raising the dead, but things went wrong. Very wrong. "Uh, Dipper? Isn't there only supposed to be one zombie?" "Yeah, why?" "Why are there two?" "What?" Dipper asked. He looked to see two zombies. Then three. Then four. Five. Six. Seven. Dipper's eyes widened. "Uh-oh." Percy and Dipper fled into the Mystery Shack as the two government agents and more guests were bitten. Soon, they were followed by Mabel and Soos, who were the only ones that hadn't been bitten yet. Stan wasn't anywhere to be found, and Ford and Annabeth were still downstairs. Mabel put her hands on her hips and stared at Dipper angrily. "What did I tell you not to do at this party?" "Raise the dead." "And what did you do?" Dipper hung his head. "I raised the dead." Suddenly, Stan ran downstairs, and Ford and Annabeth ran upstairs. "Percy, what's happening?" "Zombies." "What?" "Yeah, I don't believe it either." Soos pointed at the window nervously. "Believe it, dudes." The zombies broke down the door to the Mystery Shack, and everyone backed up. "The back door!" Stan exclaimed, opening it. The gang rushed outside to find Wendy. "Guys! Thank goodness, I thought that you had been bitten!" Dipper skidded to a halt, putting his hands on his knees and panting. "Nah, we're good." Groans began to fill the air as zombies neared them. Some came from around the shack, and some came from inside the shack. The gang was cornered. Mabel chewed her nails. "W-what now? We're trapped! What do we do?" Percy answered her by pulling out a ballpoint pen. "What? Are you gonna write on them?" Dipper asked incredulously. Percy smirked. "Not exactly." He uncapped the pen, and it transformed into a bronze sword, with a trident on its hilt guard. "I'll tell you what we're gonna do." He turned and held the sword out in front of him, facing the zombies with a determined expression. "We're gonna send 'em back to the ground, without their heads!" Annabeth nodded. "Agreed." She whipped out a bronze knife. Wendy smirked. "Now you're talking!" She grabbed a nearby axe and prepared to swing. Soos grabbed a broom and shouted a battle cry, and the zombies lumbered towards them. Annabeth glanced at Dipper. "Try to find a way to stop them in that journal!" Dipper nodded and began to frantically flip through the journal's pages. "C'mon, c'mon, I know it's here somewhere!" The zombies finally reached the group, and they started swinging. But even though they were holding out very well, the horde pushed them back. "Gah... There's just too many!" Annabeth exclaimed as she stabbed a zombie in the skull. Dipper pointed a page. "Found it!" "Then READ IT!" shouted Percy. Dipper nodded, when Ford grabbed the book and began to read the curing spell. Suddenly, the zombies all began to either recede into the ground or they turned back into ordinary people. Everyone sat down, breathing heavily. Percy touched the pen cap to the tip of his sword, and it turned back into a pen. Percy capped it, and placed it back into his pocket. Annabeth sheathed her knife. The citizens looked around, confused. "What just happened?" asked Toby Determined. Stan began to herd the guests out. "Party's over! Thank you! Good night!"
