Hey guys. Sorry I haven't updated for ages. I kind of just started writing, wasn't sure how to put it into words and gave up. I'm not going to say when the next updates are in case I can't keep up with them but I will try to update as often as possible.

Enjoy the chapter!xx

Lana's POV
Since the argument with Alex I can barely bring myself to look at him. How dare he claim that he was only bothering me because he 'cared.' Utter bullshit.

Unlike the other girls at our dumbass high school, I know better than that. I know better than to believe him.

The last couple of days have been uneventful; go to class, ignore Alex, sleep, repeat. After the argument Alex has been hanging round with his football team and the cheerleaders. Big surprise.

I swear, Chelsea has been using every excuse possible just to touch him. Is there even a guy in this school that she hasn't fucked? They're such disgusting creatures, I can't even think about them without having the urge to cringe.

What irritates me the most is that no matter how hard I try, I can never completely avoid Alex. The joys of being neighbours, huh? There is no fucking way to avoid this dude!

1 week later
It's been a week since the argument with Alex and I'm still avoiding him. Mature, I know.

I just don't want to talk to him. Especially since he's been spending all of his time with Chelsea and his football buddies. Including Jason.

Finally, finished with my procrastinating, I get up and go to the bathroom. Hopefully a shower will help clear my mind.

When I get out of the shower I go to my closet. I decide on black skinny jeans with a maroon sweater and a pair of white converse.

For makeup I just put on a bit of mascara and winged eyeliner. I don't really wear a lot of makeup. I'm too lazy to apply it all.

With that, I go downstairs and grab a slice of toast and head out and off to school. It's only ten minutes away so I just walk. It's relaxing, gives me some time to just think about life.

When I get there I go straight to my locker to grab my books for today. As I'm already running late to class, I close my locker, not bothering to put my books in my bag and rush off to class.

I barely make it two feet before I collide with someone. Well, someone's chest. Why am I such a shortass?

I look down to find I dropped all of my books. "Shit," I mutter, gathering all my books again.

I look up to see Alex just standing there. Are you fucking serious?! Did he not see me there? He could've at least helped.

As soon as I've gathered all of my books, I continue to walk to class, purposely bumping Alex's shoulder as I do so.

"Bitch," I hear him mumble.

"What did you just call me?" I say, turning around.

"I called you a bitch, what're you going to do about it?" He asks, a smug smirk on his face.

I shoved my books back into my locker, forget class. I quickly grab him by his collar and push him up against a nearby locker.

"Can't resist touching me babe?" He asks, the smirk never leaving his face.

"Unlike many of the other girls here, I'm not a slut. I'm actually quite repulsed by your type. I'm sure all of your football buddies told you what Jason did, so don't you dare, even for a second, think that I like you. You don't intimidate me, I'm not afraid of you Ryder. Stay out of my life and I'll stay out of yours." I say, letting go of him.

I head to the library. At least I can read for the next hour.

A/N:
Hey guys, sorry the chapters are getting shorter, I started this book with an idea of what I wanted to happen but I'm pretty new to writing so it's taking me a while to figure out how I actually want it to progress while still being interesting for you guys. I'll try to make the future chapters longer and ideally of better quality.
