After a long, silent drive to school...
"Here we are! Symphic High." Liam pointed at the giant building before us. I gasped at how many students were coming in and out of the doors. Liam parked the car in his assigned spot, which was right in front of the school doors. We both unbuckled our seatbelts and got out of the car and looked around. Everyone was already  staring at me. I looked down and tried not to take in all the whispers around me. Liam wrapped his arm around my shoulders and said, "hey, don't worry about them. It'll be alright."

We walked into the school with our heads held high. Everyone was just whispering things and looking at me. Not Liam. Girls were swooning over him. Some looked confused to see him walk in with me, but whatever. Liam showed me to the main office where I was supposed to get my uniform. "So, here's the office. Just walk in and give them your name and they'll hand you over to the principal. When you come out, I'll be here, okay?" He gave me a quick smile. I nodded and opened the door to the main office and walked in.

"Hello! Name please." the office clerk said. "Starlett Skistull, ma'am."
"Ah, yes! Mr. Smith is waiting for you in the last room on the right," she pointed to the hallway behind her. I walked down the long hallway and looked at the last door on the right. "Mr. Smith's office" was engraved on a tag on the wall next to the door. I knocked and it slowly opened. I walked in and saw a large man sitting in a grey cushioned chair behind a wooden desk. He was wearing a blue vest with a black dress shirt underneath.
"Hello, Starle-" he looked up and his eyes widened. I slowly walked to a seat in front of the desk and sat down.  "Your hair. May I ask why it's blue?" he questioned.
"Its a long story, sir." I sighed.
"Oh, alright. Well, here's your schedule and I will be right back with your uniform." He got up and left the room.

After a few minutes, he came back with a long sleeved black button up shirt, a red skirt, black tights, and a red tie. He handed the uniform to me. "Thank you, sir." I mumbled.
"No problem. Now, go change in the women's restroom down the hall. Good luck!" And with that, I quickly got up and left the room. I swiftly walked down the hall to leave the main office. I opened the door and looked around for Liam. Of course, he wasn't there.

I sighed and searched for the women's restroom. Finally, I found it and walked into it, picked an empty stall, and locked the stall once I was inside. I was taking off my white jeans when I heard the door slam and the clicking of heels walking in the restroom. I continued to change into my uniform without acknowledging the presence of others. "Ugh, I can't believe my parents would adopt such a low life as herself." a familiar voice said. I put the pieces together very quickly and realized that it was Lunar. I ignored what she said and quickly fixed my uniform and stuffed my regular clothes into my book bag. I held my breath and opened the stall door. I tried to run out of the restroom as quick as possible, but they noticed me. "Oh, look at what the cat dragged in." Lunar and her two minions snickered. "Oh, dear. Lunar, you were right, she is as ugly as a witch." The blonde haired girl said. "Yuck, I *almost* feel bad for her." The auburn haired minion said.
They all giggled.
"Leave me alone." I said softly.
"What was that?" Lunar said with her hand cupping the back of her ear.
I stood there quietly trying not to punch her precious little green eyes.
"Hm. That's what I thought. Let's go girls." Lunar grabbed her pink studded purse and flipped her hair.
"See ya later, loser." Before she walked out, she shoved me into the wall. Her minions followed behind her snickering.

Once the door shut, I sat down and opened up my bag to get out my antidepressants. I opened the bottle, but then the door opened and I tried to hide the bottle before they could see. It was already too late. The girl before me was staring at me with a confused look on her face. She had black curly hair that had swooped down the right side of her head. The left side had been shaved. She had a gorgeous complexion. Her skin was like the colour of honey and her eyes were as green as an emerald. She had raspberry lipstick on which complimented her lips very well.
"Uh.. Hi." she said.
"Hey..." I murmured.
"Are you okay?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.
"Yeah, I'm just-" I started.
"Wait, aren't you Starlett Skistull?"
"Yea-"
"I've heard so much about you!"
"Probably all bad things."
"Yeah, but I don't believe any of it." She smiled. I gave her a half smile and then looked down. "I'm Katrina. People call me Kat." she offered me her hand and I took it. She helped me up and I dusted off my uniform. "It's nice to meet you, Kat." I said.
"Who do you have first block?" she questioned. I quickly got out my schedule and looked at it.
"Mr. Weels." I answered.
"Oh! Me too! We can walk there together. Just let me take a quick tinkle." she walked to the nearest stall and locked it. She did her business and then came back out. She washed her hands and then said, "Let's go!"
I could already tell that we would be great friends.
