We walked out of the restroom and all the students were out of the hallway. I had assumed that the bell rang. I checked my phone and saw that it was 8:30 am. I sighed. I looked down and there was a note on the ground. I stopped in my tracks. "What's wrong?" Katrina asked.
I picked up the paper and unfolded it.
"What does it say?" She questioned.
"Care of your actions, Skistull. Be sure to do the right thing and keep the best people by your side." I answered.
"Dang, I wonder who wrote that?"
"Me too."
"Well, I'll be by your side every step of the way! I promise." she said cheerfully.
No one has ever said that to me before. I almost shedded a tear or two.We silently walked to Mr. Weel's class. Once we reached the door yo his room, we opened it together and everyone stared at us. Or... Just me. Great. "Ah! Good morning miss Skistull! It's nice of you to join us. Go take a seat next to mister Adam Ettern," Mr. Weels pointed. I quickly glanced over at where he was pointing and saw this amazingly gorgeous man.
He had the most chiseled jawline, and his hair was shaved on one side, but the half of his hair was curly and beautifully black.
His complexion was clear and the color of his skin sent me over the edge. The way his honey skintone complimented his bright green eyes.
He was perfect."Any day now, miss Skistull." A voice from behind me had said, sending me into a panic. I quickly speeded to my seat and tried my best not to look at Adam. I noticed that behind me, there was no seats or desks. I was in the back. Alone. With mister gorgeous.
I quickly zoned back into the class and scanned the students to see any familiar faces. I couldn't help but see Katrina sitting with Liam. She was blushing like crazy. That's an obvious crush.
Then I saw the computer geeks sitting at the same table. They were all typing out the notes in different colored fonts and snickering at each other when the teacher said something immature.
Next, I saw the cheerleaders. They were wearing their red and blue cheer uniforms that hiked up to almost their bottoms. That's something typical. Which is why I see the basketball and football players staring at them from behind.
Everyone had their own clique. And yet for me and Adam, we had our own selves. We didn't speak to each other. We didn't look at each other. We didn't even look up at the same time. He was always on his phone. Texting someone or scrolling through Instagram or just snapchatting somebody.
I unnoticeably glanced at who he was texting. Babe ❤️. Damn. He has a girlfriend, but I wonder who it is. I tried looking at what he was saying, but he raised his hand and asked to use the restroom. Mr. Weels nodded at him and he took off. I still want to see what's going on. He was in a rush.
After a few minutes, I asked to use the restroom. I had to see what was going on with him. I was nodded at, so I speeded out of the class to find him. I assumed he was in the men's room, so I headed there first. Before I reached the men's restroom, I was stopped in my tracks. There was another note. I quickly picked it up and unfolded it to see what it was all about. Stop. Leave him alone and worry about yourself. If not, you'll regret it.
