-Tsuna's POV-
The bright sun shone through the curtains, rousing me from my sleep. I didn't sleep well anyway, too many thoughts going through my mind. This was one of the rare times where I actually woke up on time and wasn't late for school at all.
Reborn didn't come back home yesterday and neither has Lambo. Both I-pin and Fuuta has no idea where he went. This is very strange, not for Reborn since he always goes missing every few days for some mafia business that I would not want to be involved in but strange for Lambo as he always look forward to Mom's homemade cooking. He never wants to miss a single meal of it.
I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Ohaiyo Okaa-san."
"Ohaiyo Tsu-kun!" my mom greeted me cheerfully.
"Ara?You're actually on time today even though Reborn is not here to wake you up?"
"Okaa-san, I can wake up on time by myself you know....Just not most the time...." I mumbled the last few words...
Wait?She knows that Reborn didn't come home last night too? I thought she'll be more worried than that. But it seems to me, she's more cheerful as ever, maybe even more so than usual.
"Ano....Okaa-san? Did you know where Lambo and Reborn are today? I can't seem to find them since yesterday." I asked my mom.
"Oh! Lambo-kun came back this morning to eat breakfast before heading out to play again and Reborn-kun came yesterday before leaving on an important business. He told me that he'll not be home anytime soon."
What? So Okaa-san saw both Lambo and Reborn yesterday but I didn't? Are they avoiding me? I thought sadly.
I think my mom notice my frown and quickly said:
"Don't worry Tsuna. They're just busy with the preparations for something big. I'm sure you'll see them soon.
Oh and if you don't get going soon, you're going to be late again."
I snap my head towards the clock and let out a yelp before rushing out of the door with my bag.
"Ittekimasu!"
"Itterasshai Tsu-kun!"

Half way to the school, I suddenly thought of what my mom said at the end.
Wait. Preparations? What preparations? Does this have to do with why everyone disappeared? Somehow, I have a bad feeling about this and it's not just my HI telling me this......

I manage to reach school on time but he still didn't see any traces of the demon prefect around, or did I see any of my friends in class.
I plopped down onto my seat and gazed outside till the first bell rings.
It's lonely. Have it always been this quiet around here?
