-Normal POV-

'What the hell is she doing?!' Tsuna stared at her in shock.

"W-What are you saying! You can't beat him! Stay back and let me handle him!" He shouted, desperate for her safety.

"NO! I'm not going to stand around and watch you get hurt anymore! All we are doing is relying on you and idling around. I'm your friend Tsuna! I can't stand to watch you get hurt, so please let me help." Yukari shouted. Her voice trembled with fear but even so, she never once took her eyes off the madman's face.

Even with her back facing Tsuna, he could feel her determination; her strong willpower to protect.

"Awww...That's cute. But are you sure? You're shaking like a leaf. You saw what I can do, are you sure you can take me on alone when your precious Decimo couldn't?" Pazzo sneered.

"S-She won't be alone! W-we're here too!" Osamu shouted, stepping forward and puffing out his chest to make himself look bigger. Like the rest, his knees are also trembling in fear but his eyes were fierce.

"What the hell is wrong with all of you?! You'll die!" Tsuna was glad that they are willing to go this far to protect him but at the same time, frustrated because they have absolutely no chance of defeating a skilled man like him. But overall, he was most frustrated at himself for being this weak.

'Is this the best I can do?' Tsuna scolded himself mentally. 'No! I still have some fight left in me. So get back out there and fight! Instead of letting your friends fight for you!'

"Tsuna." Yukari's voice cut through his thoughts. "Are you still thinking that we are something that must be protected? Why don't you forget that for now. Those who protect, those who are protected, both bear the same frustration that you are feeling right now. I'm may be not as strong as you, but I can sure hold my own. I even held my ground against the Hibari Kyoya. Too bad you were not around to see that." She tilted her head sideways and gave him a strained smile.

"Hah. If Dame-Tsuna can't do it, then I'll show everyone that I--Kensuke Mochida --#1 Kendo master is better than the Decimo." Mochida stepped forward with his bokuto and aimed it at the enemy.

"Come on now, this is not fun at all. I wanted to fight the Decimo, not some middle school kids, and especially not a kid with a wooden stick." Pazzo dug a finger to his ear, looking very bored.

Mochida flared, insulted by that comment. He took up his stance, holding the bokuto steadily in front of him and rushed forward.

Rising his bokuto high in the air, he got ready to strike him in the head but the next thing he knew, his target was lost.

The man appeared behind him and gave him a swift kick in the back, causing him to lose his balance and stumble. Mochida wasn't giving up though. He quickly recovered and spun around, facing his opponent with an irritated glare.

"Oooh. We have a tough one here. I hope you could at least last long enough to make this more fun for me." He laughed.

The fight started as Mochida futilely tried to attack him with his bokuto but he was too fast. After a while, Yukari also joined in the fight. Her fighting form was beautiful, fast as lightning and graceful like a dancer as she jumped in and out of the fray. Her every move was strategically calculated. She was being careful not to get hit or get in Mochida's way and only jumping in when she saw an opportunity to.

Amazingly, she even manages to land a few hits but in return for that few hits, she received many bruises all over her body. Mochida wasn't doing as well as her, but his bokuto helped serve as a distraction for Pazzo as Yukari took the chance to land a hit on him when he blocked Mochida's bokuto from hitting his face.
