Mari's P.O.V.

"I already told you Viktor, I'm not having those ugly weeds at my wedding!" I shouted, pointing to the organized wedding board. Viktor gave me the stank eye and huffed.

"I hardly believe Daisy's are weeds Marilyn," he stated, leaning forward in his seat. I looked up at the flower options again. "What about the Snapdragons and Peonies?" He picked up a board with a picture of pink and red Snapdragons and light pink Peonies.

I looked at him a sighed, " They don't match our color scheme." My hands grabbed color samples from the table and shoved them into his face. He snatched them from my hand and looked over them quickly. He sat the yellow one down on the table.

"No yellow," he said, shaking his head.

I cocked an eyebrow, " and what's wrong with the yellow?"

"It doesn't match the color scheme," he mocked me and slid the yellow back down to me. I rolled my eyes.

"Well I'd like to see you try to find a bouquet with just Mauve, Navy Blue, and Grey," I snapped back. I looked down at my freshly manicured hands and tapped them on the table.

"Fine! Use the stupid yellow," he shouted. The rest of the colors flew out of his hands onto the table and scattered.

"Oh look. Now because of your immaturity the table is a mess," I shrunk in my seat. My head was swirling with thoughts about this. Such as why I am doing this. And why am I so stupid. And why is Viktor such a fuçk1ng ass.

"Oh look. Now thanks to your immaturity the table is a mess," he mumbled under his breath in a high pitched whisper. Viktor grabbed the color samples he scattered around the table and neatly put them back in a pile. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as I got up to leave.

There was a chuckle behind me when I realized my shorts we scrunched up my ass, giving me a wedgie. My walked turned into a speed walk as I left the room. How. Fuçk1ng. Great. I pulled out my wedgie (sooo lady like 🙄) and walked down to the other end of the long hallway. My pace slowed as I pulled out my phone to play my new favorite game.

"Mari what are you doing. Get off that phone and go back and help Viktor with the flowers," my mother grabs me by the arms and pulls me toward the doorway.

"I did help him. And now I need a break mom," I replied, eyes glued to the screen. She sighs and plants me back in my chair.

"You had a break 20 minutes ago Marilyn," she says to me and turns her attention towards Viktor. "How is everything doing in here?" She questions.

Viktor glares at me mischievously, "Everything would be so much better if Marilyn would get off her phone." I gape at his lying face.

"Why you little li-," I begin but my mother snaps my phone out of my hands and leaves the room. I sink in my chair and huff. Viktor laughs hysterically at me.

3 1/2 hours later

"Fine we'll do the stupid blue delphiniums and white roses!" Viktor rose from his chair and walked to the window. He stood there for a while.

"Good! Because I'm done here," I glided across the room to the doorway. I watched my feet as I led myself down the hallway. I neared the end of the hallway when a hard force pushed me to the ground.

My body hit the floor. I looked up to see a handsome young man with a strict jawline and grey eyes. He resembled Viktor quite a bit. He held out a hand and lifted me off the floor as if I was a feather.

"My apologies Princess. I really am quite clumsy," he said. His voice was smoky and soothing. I cocked my head at his nervousness and began to laugh.
