Part 20 : Mystery Guest

Achilles Pov

"Gilbert how many time i tell you don't follow a stranger.."

I free his hand from the ropes and checked his body is there a injury. He was roughed up a bit at his faces but other than that he's fine.

"But they said that they knew my parents...."

I hoist him up and carried him out of this little house. Puts on Gilbert hoods and teleport away. It's been years that little grumpy boy follow me. He remember his name and we become closer than before. But he still searching for his real family and i doubt they still alive.

I buy a mansion with the money i saved up from working and start a small business. I can't teach Gilbert much aside from teleportation and calm down his raging fire since i a vampire with ice power.

"Now go take a shower and change into new clothes.."

He pout at me and i ruffle his messy dark blue hairs.

"I know you want to know more about your family..but not like this..you can't just go out there blindly and believe whoever tells you that they know your parents..please be more careful and at least tell me so i can make sure nothing bad happens to you okay?.."

He nods slowly and went to bathroom to clean himself up. I filled up my blood inside a glass cup for him to drink later.

"Achilles!!"

Gilbert voices seem in panic so i rush to the bathroom.

"What is it Gilbert?"

He stand behind me with glaring faces at his bathroom.

"I saw someone on the window.."

I use my vampire eyes and there is someone running away from my mansion. It's a little kid with werewolf blood.

"You stay here Gilbert..i go and check who is it.."

He wants to protest my order but i give him the looks and hands him the glass that was filled with my blood. I teleport following the suspicious person and immediately catches him before he escape.

"What you want from us?"

I grabs his hoods and pulled it back to reveal his faces. I was stunned by the familiar faces.

"Archer?"

I asked in choked voices and he smiles at me while wagging his tails and perking his wolf ears.

"Hey dad.."

I hugs him tightly and my diamond tears falls like a waterfall.

"My child..Archer.."

We stay like that for awhile and i invited him in. Archer tells me about his lives and the reason he come here to find me.

Because he wants to meet with me his mother. I was happy that he isn't mad at me and wants to meet me..

"Who is he Achilles?"

Gilbert asked me with suspicious voices and Archer hold out his hand to shake it with Gilbert.

"I'm Archer and Achilles is my mother.."

My son stated it proudly and i was touched with it. Gilbert swatted Archer hands away and glare at him fiercely.

"Don't act all high and mighty because Achilles is your parents..he's mine too..he's..he's..my older brother!!"

Gilbert shouted out angrily and he runs outside the mansion. I look at Gilbert back worryingly and Archer hugs me

"You can go dad...i stay here."

I kiss his forehead and run after Gilbert. He indeed stronger now but he still a child and he need me to look after him. I feel bad leaving my child behind but he knows what is more important to do now...

"Gilbert!!"

I called for him and thankfully he answered my call.

"Achilles!!"

He runs to me and i wrapped him securely in my arms. A hood guy with golden long hairs stepped out from the bushes.

"Achilles..?"

I prepare myself to attack him as he knows about me.

"Who are you?"

He let down his hood and reveals his familiar faces. He smiles brightly when i recognize him.

"Helios? What happened to your hairs? It's golden..."

He chuckle amusingly and rub his back head.

"It's only temporary..we can talk about my hair later..importantly can i have a hugs from you Achilles? "

I assured Gilbert to trust Helios and open my arms to hugs Helios. He come to hugs me tightly and he lands a sweet fleeting kiss on my cheek.

"I miss you Achilles..you have no idea how worried i was..and how long i been searching for you.."

He kiss my neck and Gilbert make a disgust faces.

"I'm sorry..and Gilbert where did you think you're going?"

Gilbert turns to me and stick his tongue at Helios.

"I going back home and you're coming with me Achilles.."

Gilbert dragged my arms and i invited Helios to my mansion. I introduced Archer my son to Helios and Gilbert my adopted little brother. Strangely when i with Helios i can talk all about my past and he soothes me when i was crying. Maybe Helios is my closed friend and we had been together for a long time.

"The war between the vampire clans and werewolf clans already over...i slowly building up our vampire society..and i need your help Achilles.."

I stare outside where Gilbert and Archer having a strength contest.

"If we want to be free from the conflict..we need to disappear and let our clans be an old tale."

Helios grabs my shoulder and turn my body to faces him.

"Are you saying that our clan need to hide while the human and the werewolf rules the world? We're more powerful than them so why we need to hide from them?!"

"The earth belong to the human...the forest belong to the werewolf..and what is left to us? Nothing! That's is why our clans steal from other..despite our powerful power and wealth..we need other blood to stay alive..."

Helios sigh heavily and ruffles his golden hairs.

"I understand..if living in the shadows can keep us alive in peace...I'll do it and i need your help to lead the other vampire since you have the royal blood running inside your veins.."

I smile softly and dunk when Gilbert throws a fireball at us. Helios dismissed Gilbert blue fire with his red fire while he making annoyed faces.

"Firstly..can you teach Gilbert to control his fire?"

I give him a pleading look and Helios grunt loudly. He pulled me to his embrace and kiss me deeply.

"I only agreed to it because you asked me..Achilles.."

Helios still the same..only his hairs  change.
