Part 5 :Behind Him

Achilles Pov

It's been five years pass as Helios took me in and train me to be one of the elders. For some reason we always travel around and avoid the other vampire.

"We need to go.."

Helios pack our stuff and puts on a white cloak. He chanting a magical teleportation circle and teleport us off to another unknown country.

"Helios..why are we running away?"

He look at me with pain faces as he pulls me into his arms. Tightly he hugs me as his warm tears falls on my shoulder.

"King Razel is dead...so as my father...aside from the werewolf clans...the witches wants your eyes..and there's a betrayal in our clans.."

I was shock and speechless by the news. I don't care about the witches or the werewolf clans..even the betrayal didn't faze my interest.

"No...Razel..dead? Count Victor too?"

Helios nod and he wipes away his tears. I lost my loved one so as he but he keeps a strong stand since he was assigned to protect me.

"I know it's hard but please don't cries Achilles...your diamond tears will be easy to trace down and we both be in danger if they caught us. There nothing we can do as long as the betrayal is still inside the vampire clans."

My mother says that my eyes posses a great power and i need to keep it a secret. Helios is in danger because of me isn't it safer for him to abandon me and travel on his own.

"Helios...leave me..i don't want something bad happened to you.."

Helios hold my hand and again he created a teleportation circle.
We arrived in unknown forest and he pulls me to run with him.

"Me too!! I don't want anything bad happened to you so shut up and let me protect you!!"

He blast off a hot red fires in front us and again he created a teleportation circle. We teleport to on top of snowy mountain and i used my power to hides us. The strong blizzard help us to hides from our pursuers. It's was the witches and their presence is terrifying that i hides inside Helios chest.

"Come on.."

Helios make a tunnel with his red fires. As we walks down the path. It's reminds me to my old trauma when my mother forced me to escape using the castle underground tunnel. I clings at his back and follow behind him as he pat my shoulder gently.

"Hah...they finally give up..i'm beat!"

Helios falls down on the cold snow and hug me closer to him. I snuggle inside his arms and listen to his slow heartbeat.

"Helios!"

I jolt up and caress his pale cold cheek as he smiles weakly at me. His body temperature is dropping.

"Don't look at me like that...i fine..just need some rest and...."

His conscious slowly drifting away and i was panicking how to help him.

"Blood...! Helios hurry drinks my blood!"

He shakes his head and push away my outstretched arms. He refused to drinks my blood as he doesn't want to drain my energy.

I clench my fangs and bite my wrist. My blood spilled on his laps as he watch me with wide eyes.

"What are you doing Achilles!"

I push my wounded wrist onto his mouth as he struggled from it.

"If you're exhausted like this the enemy will catches us!"
