Part 2 : Welcome Home

Achilles Pov

I watch from my window as the snowflake slowly fall. I was waiting for my father comes back from his works. He a young man that have a long blonde hair. He may not look all big and strong but when he in fight for his family or friends sake he's the strongest and reliable compare to the other vampire. My father built this beautiful strong ice palace when he proposed to my mother. My mother is the demon ice woman. She is a bit wild and cruel before she fell in love with my father. My older brother are different from my parents. My father said that my older brother looks just like our grandfather.He's gone to training with uncle August and i barely remember what he looks like. My parents never do something bad to anyone and been living alone deep in the forest with me.

So why?

Why they killed my father and mother?

Why they destroyed the ice castle?

My blurry vision come back as my weak body lied on the cold dirt. I struggle to get up with my exhausted arms and feets as i wobbly stands and i leans on the nearby trees to support my heavy body. I glance on the dark sky as the star accompany the lonely full moon. A smile creep on my faces as i remember my mother smooth voices when she sing her lullaby for me.

I exhale my breath and leans on the trees. Slowly i fall asleep and i dreamt about him. My souls mate. He was standing with his back facing me. When i tried to reach for him he vanished and i awaken from my sleep. It's was morning and the sunlight is burning my skin. I pulled my hoods and hides my body in the robes. I was hungry and tired.

Will i die here and reunited with my late parents without meeting my souls mate or my older brother again?

"Kyaa!!"

My head snap to the scream direction. I use my vampire eyes and saw a girl been chased by a few bulky man that holding a shackles and whips. Then i remember back what fay said about his hard lives as a slave to that fat human.

"Come here you little robin! How dare you try to escape from master Chaeser!"

He lift up the whips but before he can hit the girl i bite his legs and suck off his blood until his body dried out. The other guy become wary of me and approach me carefully. I wipes off the stains on my lips and my eyes shine with the number of prey in front of me.

"What a vampire doing here?"

The tall guy asked me as he aims a rifle to my heads. They seem familiar with my clans

"Leave the girl and i spare your lives human..."

They slowly  retreated and leave me with the poor little frightened girl. I hunched down in front of her as she flinch away from me. Her leg is injured and i gently smile at her when she stare at me with fears eyes.

"My name is Achilles..what your name?"

She scoots away from me and leans on the trees curling up to protect herself. I sigh in defeat and approach her. She flinch in fear and scream when i pull her wounded ankle and lick it as she struggles fiercely maybe she afraid what happened to that guy will happen to her.

"There...all fine.."

She peek between her shield arms and blinked away her hesitation when her injured ankle heal. She look up to me as i smile gently at her.

"Do you have a home to go back to?"

I asked her and held out my hand to help her up. She was unsure to grab my hands so i let her stand up on her own.
