The Secret

            *Another Year Later*

I'm 12 now. The abuse only got worse. Everyday since my aunt left I had to go to school caked in makeup to hide everything. I want to tell someone. I want help. But im too afraid. I wanted my aunt to come back.

"Hey Leyla!" my best friend Kaylynn yelled from across the school hall.

"Hey sis!" I replied with a fake smile, if only how good she had it.

"Hey what happened to your head?" she asked worried.

"Oh, uh, that? Its nothing." she looked at me concerned, as I tried to cover the gash up with my hair.

"Well it is something! That looks bad." she said walking up to take a closer look.

"I just fell and got cut with glass its nothing." I kinda lied but it was a glass cut.

"Oh, okay, whatever." she stopped asking me questions and started rambling. Kaylynn is a YouTube girl, she watched almost every YouTuber, and she is very very weird..

"But anyway, you should spend the night with me after school!" she said happily.

"Oh ok sure! Ill be there!" I just smiled and walked to my class. Im just happy I dont have to come home to my drunk uncle.

                    *After School*

I walk out the front school to see Mrs.Bawse waving her arm at me.

"You coming or not girl!" she seemed really nice.

"Yeah im coming!!" I yelled as I jogged over and got in the backseat next to Kaylynn.

*a couple minutes into the car ride*

We drive by a huge mansions with a black gate, they seemed vacant, with two long pillers, and the garage doors closed.

"Wow that house is amazing!" i said with my head out the window of the car.

"Yeah there's a lot of those around here" Mrs.Bawse said in a happy tone.

          *a neighbor hood later*

We pull into a drive way in front of a mansion that looked similar to the other one.

"Omg this is your house!?!?" I said amazed.

Mrs.Bawse chuckled, "Thank you!" we start to walk in and my jaw dropped. "Kaylynn show Leyla to your room and you girls can do anything you want have fun!~" she said sing song ish.

"Wait Leyla can I talk to you real quick?" she said in a hushed tone.

"Yes Mrs.Bawse?" I said confused.

"What happened to your head and your leg?" she asked silently so Kaylynn wouldn't hear from upstairs.

"Oh I just uh on the playground I fell on glass and I was sent to the school nurse." I said stuttering.

"Leyla I know youre lying, you can tell me anything." she said motherly.

"How do you know!?" I blurted out by accident.

"Leyla im the school nurse." she said straight forward. I made a
-o- face.

This is my moment I can stop everything and him.

"Uh. M-m-y-y u-un-cle d-did it." I said closing my eyes and bursted into tears.

"Oh baby girl. its ok." she said holding me.

"Please dont let me go home." I mumbled

"I wont, you're safe now dear." she whispered in my ear.

                *Week Later*

My uncle went to jail and over the week i was staying at Kaylynn and Mrs.Bawse's House. But today it was kinda late and I sat on the couch and started listening to Mrs.Bawse talking to her phone in the kitchen.

"Yeah she has to got to an orphanage. No I cant take care of her anymore!" she lightly shouted. my body overcame with sadness.

Next thing I know I ran. I ran so far I was lost. I had sat down behind someones trash can just to catch my breath.

               *Next Morning*

I open my eyes to see a group of people around me and I ended up on someones couch in someones house.

"Where is the camera!?! Is this a prank?" a tall blonde guy said looking around and I just stared at all of them confused. The first person I see is Sam the dude that helped me at the airport. Not knowing what to do I run up and latched onto Sam and everyone stared looking confused at me and Sam.
