Caught In The Act.

"You guys are too cute," Nik said giggling and dancing her eyebrows as I laugh along with her.

"Nope, not me. She's the beauty and I'm the beast. Sorry to break it to you," Jake says looking at me with a cheeky smile and winking at me. He's too cheesy. I love it.

"Ha, ha, funny. But you're way prettier than me, Jakey," I say laughing and squeezing his cheeks, making his lips look like a fish.

"Oh, stop it you two! Let's goooo!" She whines jokingly, continuing to walk away. It was quiet for a bit. I've always admired silence, but I was begging for my mind to come up with something to talk about. I got nothing. I look over, smiling at Jake because he is looking at pictures of us and random pictures of me on my instagram. He leans over and starts to whisper to me.

"Do you think she will tell on us?" He whispers to me, giving me a hopeful look.

"What do you mean??" I say looking at him confusingly as his face is inches away from mine.

"Just answer the question. Do you think she will snitch on us?" Jake says getting closer to my face, now noses almost touching. I start breathing heavily. Woah, I love this.

"No, she won't," I whisper confusingly, but wanting what ever he was going to do, for him to do it. He slowly backs away from my face. Dang, I missed that. I wonder how Nik hasn't even noticed us whispering. She's so locked on her phone.

"Well, um, Corey and Devyn aren't here so..." He stops himself, connects our hands, intertwining our fingers, without losing eye contact. Woah, hello, butterflies. Not what I expected, but I like it. I'm so naive.

"What are you doing, dork?" I ask in a whisper laugh. I think I gave him the wrong idea, as he lets go of my hand with an embarrassed face.

"Oh, I didn- I-I'm sorry." I cut him off.

"No, it's okay," I say in a soft tone not quite a whisper, quite loud actually. I connected our hands together as his face lights up.

"What are you guys talk-" Nik cuts herself off as she turns around. Jake gets scared as he pushes me onto the grass on the side of the road. "I SHIP IT!!!" Nik screams and smiles like crazy.

"What the hell, Jake," I start to yell at Jake and Nik keeps screaming, running all the way down the road to the park, staring at us from afar.

"I-I'm sorry, I got scared." Jake gave a slight chuckle.

"It's okay, I guess." I pause and laugh a bit as Jake helps me off the ground. "Because I get to do.... THIS!" I push Jake onto the ground and sit on his hip to keep him from getting up. Big mistakeeeee.

Jake over powers me and flips me over so I'm sitting on his-- waist. Let's just say I could definitely feel it and let's say I got a little... happy. Yeah, happy. Jake just lays there laughing, at my bright red face.

"You put up a good fight, Ley," Jake says, situating himself under me. Oh, holy baby Jesus. I look over at the park and I see Nik sitting over on the swings, enjoying every bit of this. I look back at Jake and answer him.

"Well, yeah. You know pay back. Sure is a bitch." I laughed with my whole body. Shit. He liked that a little much, and I watch his smile turn into a smirk.
