If Quidditch was the sun, Cedric Diggory was the earth. His life revolved around Quidditch and he made sure everyone elses did to. Although school had only been in session for a few weeks, training was intense. And they didn't even know when exactly they would play their first match.

Except for the days that one of the other houses made it to the sign up sheet for the field first, the Hufflepuff team practiced up until dinner after the last class of the day. Eventually some of the team members began to wish that Tamsin or Gavin, the two oldest students on the team, had become Captain rather Cedric who was a fifth year himself.

With getting sacked with homework and having Quidditch practice, Maxine felt as though she had bricks in her shoes. Obviously everyone else on the team did too as they all collapsed at the Hufflepuff table after a very productive practice. Some of them were covered in scrapes, others were covered in dirt, and most of them reeked of sweat.

Maxine sighed as she let all of her body weight rest against the table. She was hungry, tired, and very sore and she wasn't sure what to act on first. When Gavin and Anthony slouched down on either side of her and reached for food, she decided the first option was the best.

"Honestly," Tamsin sat across from Maxine and immediately began stuffing her mouth with biscuits. "He's almost as bad as Oliver."

"Oliver Wood?" Gavin raised an eyebrow. "He's a Gryffindor. How would you know how bad he is?"

Like the fact was obvious, Tamsin rolled her eyes and said, "Uh, he's my cousin. I spend every holiday with the twerp. Quidditch this, Quidditch that. It get's very annoying."

"If he's like this all year I'm going beat him with my broomstick," Anthony mumbled, stealing a glance over at Cedric. The rest of the team murmered in responce.

"He says he knows what he's doing," Gavin shrugged. "Maybe we have a chance at the cup this year. As long as Tammy doesn't get hit in the stomach with a bludger two games in a row and spends half of them upchucking."

"It's not like I asked those ginger dip shits to aim those buggers at me."

There was a rumor going around the castle; the Weasley twins were on a roll. In reality it wasn't even a rumor, it was a fact. Like every year, Tamsin was one of the first to be a victim of their pranks and Maxine was there to witness it.

"My face!" Tamsin was in near tears as her ivory skin began to turn the same color of her hair, a very dark shade of ginger. "What they hell kind of spell did they use?!"

Maxine and Heidi were in the bathroom with Tamsin, trying to calm her down and convince her that it would only be temporary but it was very hard to make an angry redhead relax.

"I am going to kill them," Tamsin seethed as she watched her face turn darker and darker in the mirror, given her a demonic appearance.

"No you wont," Maxine rolled her eyes. "You'll just scream profanities and try to pants them."

Tamsin turned and glared and her friend. Her exaggerated shade of white around her hazel irises gave the illusion that her eyes were going to pop out of her skull. "Why don't you stop talking and figure out what spell they used on me!"

"Fine," Maxine rolled her eyes and walked out of the bathroom in the direction where she knew the Weasley's twins were.

At a window a little away from the libaray the Fred and George Weasley sat with a clipboard between them, talking quietly. Maxine crossed her arms when she reached them and cleared her throat. Drawing their attention to her.

"Hello Beater Girl," Fred grinned broadly. Maxine had no idea which twin had greated her so she paid no mind.

"What spell did you use on Tamsin?" She was clear and straight to the point. But the boys played dumb.

"I don't know what your talking about," they said together with matching little smiles.

Maxine rolled her eyes and pursed her lips. "Look, if you tell me what spell you used and I can figure out the reversal spell you are saving yourselves from a world of hurt."

George leaned foreward and tapped his chin. "Hm, tempting. But no."

She couldnt help but laugh. The Weasley twins obviously got their thrill in pranking from making everyone mad and knowing what they were the only ones who knew how to undo the damage they caused. "Honestly its almost as though you to are asking for trouble. And Tamsin is the type of person who will gladly give it to you. Just tell me the damn spell."

"What's in it for us?" Fred gave her a wide smile and leaned back against the wall.

"How about the opposite of death?" Maxine made sure to emphasis the words opposite and death, because that was what surely was going to happen if Tamsin's face did not change.

"What is she going to do, cuss at us until we bleed to death from our ears?" George said.

Maxine had already planned out a witty remark, but the shrill voice of her friend cut her off.

"WEASLEY'S."

From the girls lavratory Tamsin had emerged, her skin back to its natural color. But even though her face didn't look like it was on fire anymore, it didnt stop her from smoking with angry.

Fred and George quickly pacmed up there belongings before sprinting down the hallway, Tamsin quickly gaining in then. Maxine shook her head and laughed. "All you had to do was tell me the spell."
