Maxine's left wrist was fractured. It wasn't severe, but it didn't stop her brother and friends from creating a fuss about it. As much as it hurt, it didnt bother her much. The only thing that would become a struggle was writing a lot because she was left-hand dominant. But Madame Pomfrey was able to place the two bones back together and all she had to wait for a special potion to kick in and for the bones to fuse.

The whole team was covered in mud. The floor of the hospital wing had so much water on it that it was almost as if it had rained inside. Maxine and the rest of her team stood together in a corner, as far away from the Gryffindors as they could.

Dementors had swarmed field during the match, causing massive chaos and Harry Potter to fall from his broom up in the clouds to what surely could have been his death of Dumbledore hadn't been there. The game was ended immediately. Not only because of Harry's fall but because Cedric also caught the snitch.

There was a moment where no one knew what to do. As everyone has huddled around the Gryffindor Seeker there was complete silence. Cedric gripped the golden snitch tightly in his grasp even as Harry was taken away, guilt painted across his face.

Everyone agreed when Cedric declared that he was going to offer Oliver Wood and his team a rematch. He had no knowledge of the Dementors being on the field when he caught the snitch of course, but it just didnt seem fair in his eyes.

When Cedric pushed open the doors to the Hospital Wing everyone glanced up at him. In silence he shook his head. "Wood wouldn't take the offer. Said we won fair and square."

Tamsin rolled her eyes and leaned back against the white wall behind her, covering it with mud. "Makes sense. Oliver's too proud."

Maxine looked over across the ward where the Gryffindors huddled around the bed that Harry Potter was resting. He couldn't be seen due to the broad backs that were shielding him from view, but even without seeing him Maxine knew he must have been in a fair amount if pain.

She was concerned, obviously. Even if Harry wasn't her teammate or her friend, if any student fell from the sky she would be worried about them. So when Madame Pomfrey ushered everyone out into the corridor, she didnt hesitate to run forward and approach the opposing team.

"Hey," Maxine stood in front of them, causing everyone to stop. Even though she was tall herself, most of the Gryffindors still towered over her. "How is he?"

Everyone looked suddenly confused, and grew even more so when Maxine's team joined behind her.

"What?" Fred Weasley furrowed his eyebrows and looked down at her with a perplexed expression.

"Your Seeker," Maxine said slowly. Maybe they didnt understand her the first time. "How is he, is he alright?"

Ron Weasley scoffed at her. "You try literally falling out if the sky and we'll see if you're alright. Not to mention his broom is completely wrecked so what the bloody hell is he supposed to do now."

Taken back by the comment, Maxine stood there, only opened and closing her mouth like a fish. She was trying to be polite, voicing her genuine concern about the state of one of their key players. Brushing a lock of dark hair out of her face, Maxine frowned.

"Look," Heidi jumped in. "We just want to make sure that he is going to be okay."

"He'll be fine, no thanks to you," George snapped at her. They all moved around the group of Hufflepuffs and marched away, leaving them dumbfounded.

Maxine whipped around and put her hands on her hips. "Is this what we get for showing a bit of consideration? You're lucky that we fucking care. You know how many people are laughing it up out there because they think that Dementor stunt was so hilarious?"

She got no response as the Gryffindor's turned the corner away from her.
