"Please wait!" I called out. He turned around.
"Who are you? What's your name?"
"I'm the Doctor," he replied.
"The... Doctor?" I was confused. It wasn't often you asked for someone's name and they simply reply that they're 'the doctor'... He said it like it should be obvious.
"Wait a minute, I think I remember you..."
"You do?"
"Yes, I had a dream about you and someone named Rose fighting the Cybermen. I fought them with you in my dreams and I beat them, but for some reason I'm something called a Time Lady in the dreams."
"Go on," he said. I was surprised he didn't think I was crazy...
"I always traveled in this spaceship called a TARDIS. I forgot what it looked like but it made a strange sound when it was flying. I'm the last Time Lady in my dreams too."
The was a long silence. He seemed really interested about what I just told him. But he probably thoguht I was crazy...
We talked for a really long time and after a while I introduced him to Aaliyah. It was probably really dumb of me to bring a complete stranger to my apartment. Of course Aaliyah thought he was a freak... Especially when I told her about us fighting the Cybermen.
"You don't honestly think those dreams are true Raine, do you?" Aaliyah asked me.
"Well..." I didn't know what to say.
"Her dreams just might be reality," the Doctor said. Aaliyah stared at him like he was crazy.
"They just might be."
