Darkness. That's all there is. Moving around I try to find any source of light, anything I can latch onto. But there's nothing. Nothing at all. Confusion and panic mix into a disgusting blend inside of my mind, as it feels like the darkness becomes tighter and tighter.

"Lilly"

Whirling around I try to find where the voice came from. Who was it? Where am I? What is going on?!

"Hello?"

My voice rings out clear, and echoes off the darkness as if they're walls themselves.

"Lilly"

The voice now sounds taunting, and I feel the hairs on my arms stand up. This isn't good.

"Hello, Lilly"

Feeling breathing by the side of my ear I spin my body towards the voice in a panic. By the time I'm fully faced towards them though there's no one there.

"Oh, Lilly. Lilly, lilly, lilly. The sweet and strong Lilly. I wonder how much you really know. Not much obviously."

The voice sounds like it's coming from in front of me, but when I stretch out my arms there's nothing but air. Circling myself with my arms, trying to find anything solid I come up empty. One of the worst laughs I've ever heard sounds around me, and I get the feeling that whoever is here with me can see perfectly fine.

"I can't wait until I get to see you in person. Oh, how much fun it will be!"

The voice echoes through and around me. Holding my stomach  I quickly get the feeling of being prey. The voice sounds hungry, with a sick sense of pleasure. Feeling unsafe I try not to panic, as I know somehow that this voice can cause me pain.

"It will be fun indeed. Watching you tear yourself apart. Watching as you try to fight what's going to happen. Watching you fall apart. Watching as he tries to help you, but it will be too late. That I can promise you," a sense of terror flows down my spine and I shiver. Feeling arms surrounding me in what feels like a steel cage, I can feel myself being squished. My breathing gets heavier as I try to suck in as much air as I can. With his next words however, my breathing completely stops. "By the way sweet Lilly. I give you my condolences. It must be so hard to lose your aunt, especially after you tried so hard to make sure she was okay." As I swirl into a different kind of darkness I hear him laughing again. That laugh chases me, as I fall down. Down into a different, welcoming darkness. Down into a safe darkness.

It took a week to get back to normal, and we still haven't perfected it. However we are close. When everyone sits down at the table Jemma excitedly exclaims "Only one more week and the first month of school is over!"

Everyone smiles, and discreetly shakes their heads at her. Small talk ensues, and as quickly and discreetly as I can I look over to Michael. He's been getting better too. I think he's finally starting to heal, and I can't help but worry. When is the next blow going to come? Is there even going to be another blow? Remembering the strange dream I had that night I feel a shiver roll it's way down my spine. Shaking my head I tune back into the conversation to James talking.

"So I was thinking, do you guys want to come over and have a sort of movie night or whatever. My uncle is gone, and I have the house all to myself. I'll even order the pizza and soda."

A chorus of, "Heck yeah"s and "Definitely!"s go around the table and I feel a smile start to lift up the corners of my mouth as if it's thinking for itself. Everyone turns to look at me, and I can't help letting out a loud laugh at all their faces. Honestly if you could see it you would've done the same. Looking back to James I nod my head saying,
