Chapter 4 -- Dragon

Chris POV

Tsk. Napasubo ako sa isang yun.

Buti na lang pala pumunta pa din ako dun. Hayst.

I saw them walking and holding each other hand. I dunno what to feel. I want to run towards them and get her hand but my feet are nailed to the ground. I was about to go to her house and see her before going to 711 but then I saw them ahead. I saw them fucking ahead.

Napapunta tuloy ako sa malapit na park dun. Di ko namalayan na lampas na ako sa oras. Pauwi na sana ako kaso naalala ko may tatagpuin ako.

Since glass ang walls sa 711 you can see people inside it. Then I saw her. I think she slept there while waiting.

Who would have thought that she will wait for me since we're not that close.

Sigh

Then she raise her head. She's silly. Haha.

Did I just laugh in my thoughts?

I think I have to see a doctor.

Her face started to crumple. She seemed so angry. Maybe because of me. So I walk inside 711 and hold her arm.

Bakit nag intay ka?" -- I asked her coldly

"Well kuya I have one word. When I said Yes it means Yes. Uuwi na po ako kase 11:30 na. Di kase ako sinipot e. 9 ang usapan namin."

She is really angry. Maybe because she waited for me for almost 3hrs.

She went outside the convenient store stomping her feet really hard.

I followed her quietly since I noticed that street lights were burnt out. She stopped for a couple of minutes then get her phone to lighten her way. My feet automatically walk faster.

"Hatid na kita." - I said sincerely

I want to pay for making her upset. I didn't intend to. She let me walk her home maybe she's afraid? I dunno what she's thinking. So I always guess.

"Sorry. Di ko naman alam na maghihintay ka. May nangyari kase e."

After saying those she looked at me. What is she thinking? I want to ask her.

"Okay lang. Wala naman talaga ako balak mag intay kaso nakatulog ako."

She's kind. She forgives easily. I want her to be my friend.

She smiled widely maybe for assurance?

We walked quietly until we reached her house.

"Uh ano thank you."

She still doesn't know my name. I offer her my right hand for shake hands.

"Michael Chris Park."

"Jhane Coleen Hernandez."

I want to call her Jhane since Coleen is common.

"Sorry uli Jhane."

I gave her my phone.

"Your phone number. Ako na lang magtetext sayo para ilibre mo ako."

"Teka. Bakit ako pa din ang manlilibre?"

She's really silly.

"Nagsorry ako tapos you said it's okay. Haha."

Did I just laugh aloud? I think I need to be checked up.
