The last man on earth

Chapter six

It's 7:00 in the morning and I feel like crap. It's bright as day outside, luckily because I've got a long day ahead. I start by getting my shit together and heading out to get more petrol for the generators because I know I'm gonna need some more.'15 minutes later' ok so this is just fantastic, there is a small sized tree fallen into the road and I can't exactly drive around it because there are ditches on both sides of the road, god dammit. I get back into my crappy Vauxhall corsa and head to the hardware store. '7 minutes later'
I leave my car in the middle of the road and walk through the smashed window because the generator that was running here has run out of fuel, I walk back to my car and grab my iPhone so I can use it as a flashlight and walk back into the store with my new light source and being to explore the massive hardware store to look for a chainsaw, after looking through the entirestore sadly I couldn't find a chainsaw but I did find the key to the propane tank cage outside so in another way it's a win for me anyway, I grab as much as I can put in my car and start driving back to the house, I look at my watch it reads 9:00am so I have plenty of time to get other things to survive. '5minutes later' I am outside the house, I get out of my car and look at the two story house that has a slanted roof with solar pannels on top on the house, too bad there was no running water. I gave a sigh and start unloading the gas canisters, after I unloaded my the canisters out of my car I have a thought "people have got food in there houses and things that i could use to survive, hell I could turn people's back gardens into designated plots of farmland". I start walking across the street to another house and go through the back gate so I won't have to break in, once I got into the back garden i was in slight shock because the garden had a little farm growing. I start investigating the little farm and there was quite a few things growing, there were potatoes, carrots and tomatoes. At least I won't have to start off at square one, after the little investigation I had I opened the back door and started another investigation, who lived here and what do they have that can keep me alive, and any clue on what happened to everyone. The back door was located next to the kitchen so I started to look for canned food and frozen because it might help me in the long run, all i had found was canned potatoes, and spam and the fridge freezer was empty for some reason but there was also a freezer there as well but it was empty as well but the upside is now that this guy had a freezer and now it's mine, after I looked in the kitchen I started to make my way to the front room(living room if your American)and this guy didn't have much, all there was is a small tv, DVD player which i will take, virgin box and DVD collection which I will take as well, after that I went upstairs and  went into what looks like a gaming room, this guy had a gaming rig

There was a Xbox one Slim on his desk as well and I had decided that I would take all of this because this is the best setup I've ever seen. I started by unplugging the everything and moving it to my house, first the gaming rig, then everything else. Once everything was
In the house I checked my watch 12:00 and I thought "holy crap it's been three hours". I went back to the house across the street and grab the things that i was originally was getting and grabbed the house key for that particular house so I could turn that house into a little storage area/farm. I had setup the pc and turned it on to see who this belonged to. Once it booted up and the sign in screen pop'ed up I originally thought"for fuck sake did he put a password on" but turns out he didn't. The guys name was William jones, and he has a lot of porn of his pc, i will keep that to a side for later. I clicked on the documents folder and checked for the size of he's hard drives and he's got 3 2TB of data on his pc, and I thought "holy crap" on my pc I have a rust server content(which means I can run a local server on the game without internet) so I could take out one of the 2TB hard drives and put it in my pc and take out my hard drive that has my OS on there. After that I go downstairs and feed the dogs and put on a movie to fall asleep to.
