I'm not against those who don't believe in a little miracle,
Even though some may call them narrow minded and cynical,
No problem if the physical is all they believe in,
They think things are what they say on the tin,
Sometimes only believing in what's in front of our eyes is a must,
That way in life, they can understand and trust,
But isn't it just a tiny bit tragic,
That they don't believe in even a little magic?
Their face will never know awe or true surprise,
They'll always doubt miracles in disguise,
To disprove magic some will go a great length,
For others it provides comfort and inner strength,
Some believe in angels to heal their grief,
Surely that's better if it stops them blowing their heartbreak into their handkerchief?
Surely there's no harm in the fun of believing in what we can't see,
For having a little faith can be enriching and set us free.
