My first party Chapter 7

I can feel my hands throbbing as I pull on the tight blue dress squeezing my feet into the light blue heels. Who knew Summer would actually be so nice as to buy me such a pretty dress.

I know that little drama scene in the hall was done on purpose, why would Summer be so interested in Nate all of the sudden?

The bathroom door opens and and Summer glares at me. She had the same dress and shoes at me, yet It was red.

" You look...Nevermind. You heard that saying right? When you dont have nothing nice to say, dont say it all."

I ignore her comment knowing that I probably looked boss at the moment so I just picked up my blue shoulder bag and smile. " You look lovely Summer." She looked taken aback like saying something nice was wrong.

Well she did insult me first so- " I always look good its my character trait." She said looking at me with a disapproving look.

I sigh. I needed to stay calm. It would be unbelievably rude if I was otherwise, buying me this dress and shoes. WOW!

How much money exactly did Summer have? Summer clicks a tab on her phone and makes a face.

"Hon, so sorry for the short notice but I need a ride to the party. Since you dont look like the party type, I can show you the way."

I was seriously two seconds away from denieing her offer, but Summer had a point. I knew my way around the campus but had no idea as to where to go.

I hadn't even bothered to ask Nate and Lily for a ride, its to late now, they've been left.

" Ok, sure but find your own way home." I say sternly.  I wasnt in the mood for one of Summers attitudes, so I interrupted her by saying " We should go now, before were late"

Summer nods and grabs her red purse and opens the door letting it shut behind her.

What the gentleman.

Yep. I called her a man.

I maneuvered towards the door being careful to not step on her Dolce and Cabbana outfits.

I step out of the car, my pulse pounding. My first ever party that should be crazy let alone fun. " Move your horses!" Summer says closing my car door easily.

I chuckle, then freeze on the spot when I notice whats happening.  I LAUGHED AT SUMMER MERRICKS!! I put on a serious face and walk inside the building which was oddly dark.

The shoes were killing my feet but I wasn't letting them get in the way of the fun.

Inside there were tables lined with refreshments and beer and no doubt, people smoking ciggerates in the backrounds.

The walls had a nice black color painted on it which I was guessing was for holloween, even though it was so far away. People were laughing, drinking, talking, eating, dancing, everything.

I look around for Summer but she had already disspeared into the crowds leaving me behind. I walk over to the refreshments and place myself behind the punch bowl table.

People actually acknowledged my existence here. I swear, like 12 boys already came up to me asking for my number or trying to start conversations with me.

I shrugged them off and smiled at the girls that started to walk up to me.

" Hi! Im Clarita, your dress is really nice." The girl happily bounced her head up and down in approval of my outfit.

" Im Megan! How much was that dress!" She says more in a declarative way. " I dunno, Summer Merricks bought this for me, nice right?" I state.

Both girls freeze and start fiddling with their fingers. " Uh-huh. Me and Megan have to go now." Clarita says. I nod my head but in the inside I was confused.

Everyone freezes or gives me a bad look whenever I say her name. I look into the crowd just as I see two figures moving towards me. I grab my cup ready to move out of my spot.

Im so done with boys trying to get me, or girls complementing my outfit. Even if thats the nicest thing to ever happen to me.

" Move!" Nate yells. Nate? what was he doing yelling at me to move?

It was too late.

Cliffhanger! Sorry but l love cliff hangers!  Youll just have to wait for me to update because my mind is running dry of ideas i need to think exactly what happened to Alex. Do you know?
