Kehlani Pov.

Here we are again at another funeral. Can you believe it? Two funerals in one month. As it was hard for me I know Chandlers family is heartbroken. Everyone stood around sobbing and wiping tears. Out of everyone his mother was hurt the worse. She had already fallen out twice already since we been here. I didn't want to bring Kayla so I left her with a friend.

After a few people said their speeches and everyone laid their flowers, I turned to leave.

"Kehlani, dear!" I heard his mother call. I turned around to face her.

"Your daughter was a very bright girl. Now I couldn't see exactly what my son saw in her because that was his point of view." She spoke. "But I do know that girl made him the happiest man ever. How his face would light up when he told me about her. I know they very much loved each other so that's why I want to give you this." She said handing me a beautiful wedding ring.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Chandler told me he was going to give that to her when she graduated. He was gonna marry her." She said wiping a tear.

A tear escaped my eye as I hugged her.  She said her goodbyes and returned back over with the family.

Once I got back home, I placed the ring inside Rietys jewelry box. Being in her room made me even more depressed. I quickly walked out and closing the door behind me, trying to avoid from crying again.

After I showered, I laid in the bed next to Zay who was already sleep. I rested my head on his chest as I closed my eyes, trying to take my mind off the bad things but it always came back round and hit me right in the face. I hope that'll it be over. I hope there's no more negativity coming my way but I am a strong woman and I can get through this. I will continue to protect Kayla and my soon to be here baby and my life will still go on because I have a purpose to be here. I'm a mother, a wife, a role model and so much more and I'll be damn if bad energy slow me down.
