Jon POV:
Walking into the gas station, Jon rubs the back of his neck to get the dirt from working at the construction site off. He smiles at the girl behind the counter who blushes and smiles back. Jon laughs to himself. He loved that he had that kind of effect on women. Since high school hes always had women surronding him. Jon knows he's considered a player from several heartbroken women, but the thought of being tied down to another person creeped Jon out.
He walks toward the coolers heading toward the beer. He sees a women standing there. "Damn" Jon thought, "I would love to tap that." He smiles his eyes traveling up the curve of the womens legs, leading to her butt, nice and round. Then her waist, it was perfect, gave shame to the hour-glass figure. Her long brown wavy hair fell to the middle of her back, and Jon had to resist from reaching out and running his fingers through it.
When he's about to introduce himself, the women turns to the side and his heart drops. Hayli? Hayli Partridge? He had to the do a double take to really believe what was laying before his eyes. She had grown up thats for sure. He smiles and clears his thoart. "Well well well, if it isn't Hayli Partridge?"
Her eyes widen and he smiles with satifastion, oh yeah she deff remembers him. How could she not? He was always picking on her in high school. Pulling on her hair, calling her names, the lockroom pictures and who couldn't forget tricking her with her friend asking her to prom. Thinking about it now, he felt horrible.
He was immature at the age and always thought that he wishes he could take it back if he could. He never had nothing personally against her, he just picked on her for...his own reasons.
She turns and slowly looks at him. Her face, now clear of pimples from her high school days and her newly cut bangs falling to her deep blue big eyes. Jon felt his heart stop, but as quick as it came, anger flashed in those beauitful eyes and she crossed her arms on her chest.
"Jon Taylor." She says simply.
"So you do remember me?" Jon says smiling trying to lighten the mood.
It didn't work.
"Remember you?? Of course I remember you! How couldn't I? When you tortured me every day of high school. How dare you even have the nerve to come up to me and try to play it off as if all that happened in school was a joke, because I sure didn't see it that way!".
Her face flashed red, making Jon back up a little. She wasn't the same quiet, shy little girl anymore that he knew in high school, she was now a women and seeing that made him smile, making her more angry.
"You think this is a joke huh?" She screams. "Havent changed a bit have you?"
She grabs her beer and tries to walk past him. He reaches out and grabs her arms, making her jump. She looks down at her arms and then back at him.
"Look Hayli, Im sorry for the way I treated you. You didn't deserve it. I want to make it up to you." He smiles slightly trying to show her that he means no harm.
She laughs to herself and yanks her arm out of his grasps. "I would rather run off the cliff in my car." She walks away to the counter and lays the money down. Without talking or looking at the teenage girl behind the counter Hayli walks out and heads to her car, leaving Jon in the dust.
