Runaway {Dan Howell x Reader}

What Is This?

You start to wake up feeling very uncomfortable. You then realize that sleeping on a couch is not the best idea. All of sudden, you feel movement behind you. You forgot that you fell asleep leaning on Dan. You then notice that you can't get up. You look down and see that Dans arm is around you. You start to shift around and Dan notices. He then quickly realizes what situation he is in.

(Y/N's) POV:

"Hey, umm, so this is awkward isn't it?" He says with an awkward laugh.

"Yeah, just a little." You say back laughing.

You then both move out of each others grasp and sit up on the couch.

"I should probably wake up Y/BF/N so we can get going." You say laughing slightly.

"Haha, yeah. That's probably a good idea, considering you've been here for a while. You need to get back home and get situated." He says complying with you.

You then walk over to Y/BF/N who's sleeping soundly leaning on Phil and nudge her to wake up. In this process you wake them both up.

"Hey Y/BF/N, once you're fully awake and ready, we need to get going. Is that alright?" You say, whispering.

"Yeah, of course. We need to get home and get your new things set up." She says agreeing understandably.

Dan then comes over, taps on your shoulder and asks if you want to help him make breakfast. You shake your head 'sure' and follow him to the kitchen. You both walk to the kitchen and once you finally get there, you go to ask Dan a question but then you're interrupted.

"So Y/N, about this morning when we woke up, I am so sorry." He apologizes while blushing.

"Oh, Dan, that's alright! I completely understand but you don't have to apologize. I really don't mind. Even though we just met about three days ago, I feel very comfortable around you and plus, it's not like we did anything bad." You say back laughing, trying to lighten the mood and make him understand that it's ok.

"Haha, I guess you're right. And I completely agree with you. I feel like we've been friends for a very long time! I'm glad that I met you Y/N." He says back smiling. You just love his smiles and you can't help but to smile back. (A snack that smiles back, goldfish! Lol I'm sorry, I just had to)

"I'm glad that I met you too Dan. So, what should we make for breakfast?" You ask while smiling and walking closer to Dan and some kitchen appliances.

"Leave that, to me!" He says very confidently. You both then start to laugh and you help Dan make breakfast.

You and Dan finish making breakfast so you let Phil and Y/BF/N know that it's done. You set up the plates and hand them all out. You all start eating,

"Thank you for the breakfast guys!" Your best friend says as Phil shakes his head and agrees.

"You don't really need to thank me, it was all Dan." You say laughing and giving Dan all the credit. "He's a really good cook."  You say and you feel like someone is watching you. You look over at Dan and you see that he's staring at you adoringly with a huge smile plastered onto his face. You smile back.

"Thank you Y/N. I am a pretty damn good cook. You did help me with a few things though, I didn't do all of the work. I appreciate your help." He says still smiling at you.

"You're welcome, Danny." You say back but you notice the grimace on his face. "I'm so sorry! Did I say something wrong?!" You ask in urgency and worry.
