Chapter 23

Bayley woke up and she couldn't move. It took her a moment but she realised it was because she was stuck in Finn's grip. He had his arms wrapped around her in a hug while they slept.

Not wanting to wake him, she stayed where she was until he woke up himself, which wasn't long.
"Hey Finn!"
"Hey Bay!" They both smiled to each other. "What's up?"
"Just thinking..."
"What about?"
"Life....us.....everything...."

Bayley starred off into a space while Finn released his grip from her so she could move.

After they both got dressed, Finn joined Bayley on the sofa and the couple just chilled out for an hour. They just scrolled through a couple of channels when Finn heard his phone buzzing.

Sasha: Finn! Is it true?
Finn: Is what true?
Sasha: What Carmella told me!!
Finn: Yeah, but tell her to stop telling people! I don't want Bay to find out!
Sasha: Okay! But yay! This is amazing! But I can't believe you went to Carmella for this and not me! I'm hurt....
Finn: But....#Baymella...
Sasha:....
Sasha: I hate you sometimes...
Finn: Same here! Bye Sasha!
Sasha: Cya Finn

After Finn put his phone away he saw Bayley looking up at him with curiosity on her face.
"Who was that?"
"Sasha."
"What was it about?"
"She was just asking how you were." Finn said with a smile.

Finn really didn't want to lie to Bay, but he knew it would all be worth it in the end. He just didn't know how much longer he would be able to. He needed to do this and soon!
"Hey....um...."
"Yeah? Finn you can tell me anything."
"Are you busy tomorrow?"
"From 10am-2pm I'm not, but after that I'm free."
"Rehab?"
"Yeah."
"Okay...can you be ready for half three? I have something planned." Finn smiled.
"Sure...but I am curious about what you have planned. Can you tell me?" Pam mirrored his smile.
"Not yet, you're gonna have to wait and find out."
"Fine..."

They both started to laugh, Finn out of nervousness and Bayley because of how nervous Finn seemed.
"Everything okay? You seem nervous."
"Yeah, I'm fine."

It was 12:30 the next day and Finn was starting to panic, he didn't know what to do. He was so excited but extremely nervous, he was starting to break down.

As Fergal was trying to focus in his breathing to calm himself down, he heard a knock at the door. When he opened it he saw it was Sami. He had a cheeky grin on his face but it quickly turned into a look of concern once he saw the state his best friend was in.
"What-what's wro-?"
"I'm so nervous...what if it all goes wrong? What if I mess it up. What if it all turns into a complete mess?"

His best friends face soon had a gentle smile on it once again. "Why do you always come up with the worst case for everything in your head?"
"Because...I'm used to getting hurt, I don't want to get hurt anymore...I want this to last."

Sami pulled Finn into a hug and felt Finn relax as he hugged back. Finn was used to being hurt. And Sami was used to seeing him hurt all the time. If he could do anything to make sure Fergal wouldn't go through that pain again, he would. He's seen him go through it too many times. But he didn't have to do anything, he knew that everything was going to be okay. This was perfect, there's no way it could go wrong. Sami knew that today would be amazing.

"You really think you can mess this up? If you do then you have a really special talent, Fergal."

Finn knew Sami only really called him by his real name when he was being serious, so seeing him say that with a smile on his face confused him at first. "I guess you're right..."

After they both calmed down a bit and were ready, they went out and set up some things for Finn and Bayley's date later tonight.

1:37pm-They had just finished. Finn had to leave around this time to go pick Bayley up from rehab.
"Don't worry, I'll finish here, you go get Bay."
"Okay, thanks Rami. It really means a lot..."
"Hey, what are friends for?"

And with that, Finn drove off leaving his best friend Rami to finishing putting everything together while he went to pick up Bayley. Tonight was going to be perfect. He had to make sure of it.

I'm so sorry about how short this chapter is, but the next chapter is going to be a really big chapter! It's going to have a lot going on and hopefully it will be quite long too!!
