The Earl clenched the bedsheets as if they belonged to a throat of a damned adversary. With the morning sun beaming into his still closed eyelids slowly breaking through as if they were laser beams did the Earl finally realize that dawn was well among him. The sweet soothing sounds of cardinals sweeping through the air as wild and free as can be and following them their beloved sweet vocals that left their tiny beaks as they dove across the sky. The Earl still not giving up his battle with sleep closed his eyelids tighter to still not only stop the sun from nearly burning through his raw tired eyes, but try to add enough pressure to block even the highest vocal from the birds. Eventually the Earl grew tired of the pressure and exhaled which acted like a huge weighed had been lifted from not yet his eyes but his overall spirit. At that moment her knew, he had lost. The Earl rose from his bed as stiff as a doll as he opened his eyes to the first sights of his morning scenery. He felt as pure as a newborn's first glimpse of the world among them. Alois awoken his silence with a mere yawn and a long yet well needed morning stretch.

His vision finally cleared to make out a dark figure way more emphasized than the rest of the vivid bright colors that danced across the Earl's room. It startled him to the point that he nearly threw himself onto his headrest of his bed getting some well needed space between my him and whatever was at the foot of his bed. He sighed as his smooth crisp hands met his face in yet tiredness and foolishness. His butler kneeled at the arrival of his master's spirit into the room as if he returned to him from a long night's rest. The butler cleared his raspy throat and looked into his master's eyes still stained with sleepyness. He became to think and yet worry that his master appeared even more dreadful than the tiresome night before." Good morning your Highness. I know this is out of my way but is it that you might be up rather early." He replied as he saw his master's gaze meet his yet fiery. His master's crystal clear blue eyes added to the bright luminous colors that brought life to the master's room. His mouth curved to a rather visible shape as his eyes then left Claude's golden ones and into the open window beside him. The sun had made it no higher than the oak tree that stood tall and broad overlooking the terrain around it. The unusually tall tree known as "Arbor" to the Earl as he gave it. The Earl's eyes raced across the sky as he gazed at the  beautiful lavender skies bursting with life as shades of pinks, blues and golds overthrown the leftover shades of navy. He took a deep breath as he welcomed the nice refreshing chill crisp morning air from the south into his abode. His eyes then rested upon a pair of crimson red birds that the Earl gave to them as "blood birds" for their unique color magnificently similar to the rather liquid substance. He watched them twirl across the sky happily and freely as their vocals traveled far and wide across the countryside. A pair of blood birds flew in sync as if they were identical twins but rather lovers. The Earl blinked and smiled at the sight of the pair diving across the sky as if they were rulers of the sky. The mates followed one another like a simple game of tag as they caught up to the others.

Alois looked down at himself, then at his now harden hands fragile due to the crisp wind that chilled his flesh. He looked saddened at them and held them together as a significant other would do to their mate. Alois wanted one thing and one thing only in his life and as he would always bring the subject up to his life would nature  somehow refrain itself. He wanted the feeling of having something, someone his arms giving them warmth, passion, and love. He wanted to find his blood bird match. His ears finally picked up movements of sound which came from the smooth lips of his butler's." Master..Is something deeply puzzling you?"the butler said to his master softly yet stern to his master's possible response. The room grew silent and the yet wonderful vocals of the  blood birds were a long ways away along the horizon now. Alois knew Claude would start to pity him if he'd go on answering with simple yet meaningless responses but also was aware of his real feelings." Claude" he said in his rather deep yet still low voice." Do you think I'll ever find love.."
