The wounded Earl slowly fluttered his eyes as his first response to question his condition. The Earl finally caught glimpse of what was beyond him as he could make out another dark figure. Alois smiled softly to see his butler above him looking down back at him. Eventually, his mind came into place as he realized he was at home in his bed quarters with the sun beaming upon his body once again. He tried to sit up until the agonizing pain struck him like a scythe. With a yelp he stayed back down as it was too overbearing to even sit up." Master your unwell. The wounds you suffered ended up costing you a minor discomfort in your shoulder" he replied to his master's actions. The news didn't surprise him that he had to be at bed rest for a few days to get well and functional again. He looked down before he realized another missing piece in this case." W-where's the girl?" He asked staring at his butler with wide eyes. The Earl couldn't get over himself without thinking about the beautiful female he had seen back in the alley. Remembering her tainted body all covered in wounds made Alois feel like he had failed his mission to save her. What most he couldn't give up was her beautiful eyes and how they met each other's gaze. The way she made the Earl feel was a new feeling to him. His heart pounded faster at the thought of her. Was this the love he was bound to search for? "She is someone safe. The men were taken into custody and won't lay another muscle on you or her. Alois wasn't surprised the men had been taken away, but that fact that now his chance to meet this beloved female again was slowly dwindling, he felt as if the men took more than just his innocence." Enough about the men where is she at? I have to find her.. I need to find her.." he replied looking into Claude's eyes. This action made Alois sit up in his bed making the unbearable pain commence again, yet getting the chance to see her again was way more important to him." Surely she's home with her loved ones now. I don't know her exact whereabouts your highness" he said shaking his head. Alois looked down at his hands again feeling lifeless and defeated. Who knows where she could be now. London itself is an extraordinarily big town, let alone all the untouched countrysides." Claude you don't understand. The way she looked at me yesterday.. it crushed me yet empowered me. I want to see her safe and well protected..next to me.." he replied relaxing his muscles and laid back down on the bed. Claude saw the pain his master was in emotionally and physically but knew only one could actually be beneficial. Alois was once again falling into a hole, a deep hole of emotions that soon overwhelmed him to extreme heights once again. He felt so powerless without her presence even though they were feet away from one another at the time." Master.. do you require a moment of silence alone?" Claude asked kindly not knowing how to come to his master. No reply came from either of them as Alois stuffed his face with a pillow. All he could think about.. was that girl. That troubled female somewhere far than rather next to him. Healing in pain without the comfort of his presence. It was as if his mind was trapped in a trance seeing her gaze over and over again making him feel weaker among the power. Claude knew once again his duty to be faithful to his master had failed. He stood from his bedside and motioned the triplets and Hannah himself out. Hannah trailed behind them but still looked at her distressed master. She'd never seen him like this not even when matters came to Ciel. She knew Alois wouldn't last long with a heart of gold that turned to true black in such a matter of time. The maid looked down with her eye feeling helpless and couldn't help but start to wonder. With that she left the room and closed the door leaving a crack open before departing and taking one last look at her master.
Days turned into weeks as the Earl still was healing from his injury until finally he had healed enough to leave his household. He felt as if he'd never seen the outside world to once again endure the beauty that stood beyond the door. He still beared a slight discomfort but not enough to phase him in such a major way. With that he and his butler had once again left the manor to tend to duties among the estate. Alois eyed the world once again just as he did before that day, admiring the beautiful blossom trees as they passed by them, seeing the beautiful countryside, awaiting to see what was among them. Soon the carriage came to a halt as they arrived at the district center filled with vendors and shops by the local people. He smiled seeing the faces of kind citizens and children giggle as they twirled and played alongside their parents. This made the Earl feel warm inside as he walked alongside them. They smiled and waved at him as they passed with the Earl returning a wave. "Mommy! He's better now!" One said as they ran to her. Alois couldn't help but giggle as they passed. As Claude stopped by a vendor to purchase some delicates, Alois couldn't help but notice a slight vocal different than those near him and started to explore. The curious boy ended his journey at an alleyway where the sound of whistling got louder making him venture deeper into the alleyway. He looked around to point out familiar landmarks when he soon realized that he remembered this alleyway. At that moment, a boom at the end of the alleyway corner near another path alerted the boy making him worry. He'd gotten himself in trouble once again and started to dread his decision until he clenched his fists and continued. As he turned the corner, a figure was fondling some items that had fallen over which was probably the reason for the loud boom. Alois stood in his tracks somewhat alarmed and frightened until the figure in a rather thin hood turned its head. The figure looked Alois's way which made him back up before looking at its face. His eyes widened as so did theirs as they met gazes again. "I-It's you!"
