We sit in a circle around a table, everyone seems eager to know what We have to say. I'm seriously nervous to tell them though, just because I'm not sure how they will all take it. People are bound to be happy and angry, but I guess that's just how it will have to go. I don't sit next to Peeta, the guys stole him and sit on one side of the table while I sit on the other with the girls.

"It didn't happen all at once. Since Finnick and Annie's wedding, when Cato and Marvel had us talk and Peeta let me explain, he has been thinking about it." I say.

"And trust me, all I did was think about it. In the bakery, down by the beach, at the dinner table, everywhere I went."

"Then, for her 16th birthday, Prim decided she wanted to go on a road trip, only she wouldn't tell me where. I just had to follow the GPS." I say looking at Finnick, only because he is the only one whose emotion I can read right now, and that's happy.

"My parents told us that we were going on a vacation to Cincinnati for the weekend, staying at the Hampton Inn. We had other things we were going to do, but for awhile on that Saturday after noon we were just going to stay at the hotel. While we were swimming Katniss and Prim walked in."

"When I found out we were going to be in Cincinnati, I never thought Peeta would be there though, so when we saw them I left the pool and went to our room to pack. Prim came in telling me she had done it on purpose because she didn't like seeing me depressed all the time." I say and everyone nods in agreement. They all knew how I was after everything happened between us.

"I went to talk to them and I shouldn't have been so worried about them staying there. I basically drove them out of the hotel." Peeta says, trying to take the blame for everything.

"No, you didn't. I wanted to leave anyways." I say trying to reassure him that none of it was his fault. He only shakes his head a little and stands up, walking to the other side of the room and from here I can that he is crying. Looks like I will have to finish it.

"So you all know about the drunk hitting my car at the gas pump, causing the entire thing to explode and resulted in Prim's... passing." No one can look me in the eyes when I say this, but I'm alright with that. "At the viewing Peeta told me he wanted to talk soon. Of course, I wanted to talk as soon as possible so I could get my mind off of things. When the service was over I had a major break down that apparently he saw. So we were both outside and he began talking about us, which consisted of the most relevant and relatable metaphor I've ever heard, then he gave me back my engagement ring." I finish up and I watch the stares from all of them. Let's see here, the girls look pretty excited, except Johanna but she is so hard to read sometimes. Finnick and Marvel look happy as well, Cato seems like he was expecting it, but Gale looks annoyed.

"If you have something to say just say it." the silence was to intense.

"I mean, you two didn't talk to each other for how long and then as soon as you do you get engaged again." Gale says crossing his arms. "Don't you think you should wait a little longer?"

"No, I mean we've been dating for a few years and the break was just a small bump in the road. We got over it."

"Seems like you should talk about it more is all."

"I think over the last few months we have been thinking about it enough. We've talked, very rarely, but it was still progress." Peeta pipes in from the other side of the room.

"Hey, this is your life. I was just sharing my opinion." Gale walks over and hugs me. "Just don't get hurt again." He says into my ear.

"I won't." I hug him back and smile, maybe my life will be a little normal for awhile.
