I turned around to stare back at the figure watching me. It began walking towards me, revealing itself to the flickering light inside the dark office. It appeared to be a 'human' with black liquid dripping down it's neck and onto it's upper-chest. It appeared to have a strange mask stuck onto the face, with a smile revealing itself openly to me.

"Sorry for this strange encounter..." it spoke, which sounded like a strange human voice that did not sound like it came from the body...

"... but I saw you, and well... I need your help." It finished the sentence off with a low cough it tried to hide, but inevitably failed to do. I decided to nod my head slowly, unsure of what the request was.

"Really? Well, as you could probably tell, this facility is full of security guards with loaded guns... and more are coming which appear to be more heavily trained than the rest, so uh... if any of us escape this, we'll need each other's help." It replied as a long response to my nod. I gave it thought, and tilted my head, confused on how to escape this new and strange place. It seemed to understand slightly and quickly added:

"We are in the Light Containment Zone, now I do have friends which are like us but I'll need your help getting across the checkpoints, as any security guard can instantly injure me with a bullet."

I gave it deep thought, then nodded my head quickly. The masked man smiled.

"Great! We should start to get a move-on now, before Radical Larry shows up." He told me, and we both proceeded past the open door, and walked across the long hallways. I was confused at who this 'Radical Larry' was, but didn't show any sign of asking. After all, I just met this strange being, which may likely be an SCP, but I did not want to anger it. Not after that encounter with the statue. We eventually reached a large closet room with two floors. Two humans were speaking to each other down below.

"Come on, I know the shortest way out-" one spoke, before the lights flickered and the sound of two necks snapping echoed throughout the closet room.

"Great, the Sculpture is here. Keep eye contact with it. They say it has to be a 'direct' line of sight, but it's just a general line of sight. Heh, humans are pretty stupid when it comes to-" my friend told me, but was cut off when his right arm punched himself in the stomach.

"Oh, right... I should tell you, I'm a mask controlling a human body, and it takes a while for the effects to fully work, so uh..." he responded, and I felt slightly annoyed at how much this guy could chat with others. Eventually we passed the Sculpture, and closed the door behind ourselves. We continued to walk down the hallways normally.

Eventually, we found a strange room with a door. My friend walked in front of the door, and said

"Got this from the office we were just in." As he pulled out a strange orange rectangle thing with the word 'Keycard' on it. He put the keycard into the slot device, and the door opened. We both entered, and walked up the stairs. We saw blood on the floor at the top of the stairs, and several human machines sitting idle through this whole breach. We came across another door, and opened it. We were inside a room with so-called 'monitors' and with them showed full real life display of things happening around the facility to one central system... this room. It blew my mind, but eventually understood that humans were more technologically advanced than us SCPs. We looked over to the side and found a missing switch from the label 'Heavy Containment Zone Lockdown', and next to it, a fully working switch under the label 'Light Clntainment Zone Lockdown' was sitting in it's regular place, untouched. My friend went over to pull it down.

"Okay, that should give my friend enough time to come over to us. When you see him, don't be scared. He's just a bit misleading in appearance sometimes, y'know..." he told me. I nodded slowly and waited. We were there for a long time, until something showed up.

I saw on the lower monitor screen a real time display of a human-sized creature walking up our steps slowly. We both turned around and saw the bird standing there with it's long bird mask, and it's human-like eyes.

"Greetings, 035. I trust this is your friend, yes?" It spoke.

"Yeah, don't worry about it doc, it's with me." My friend replied back to the 'Doctor'.

"Oh hello there, I do not believe we have met recently. I'm 049, but you can call me 'The Doctor'. I trust you know the plan, stick together and break out of this facility?"

He said to me, and I nodded at the doctor.

"Well, we don't have all day, we should keep moving." The mask told us, and we both nodded. We began to exit the room when we the sound of concrete scraping up the stairs, which was around the corner. . .
