We began to head in the opposite direction that the crying came from, and soon found ourselves in front of a metal door with a sign that read:
'SCP-106
Object class: KETER'
I wanted to go in, but 035 motioned us to keep moving because humans would still be around the hallways. We started to walk around a couple of broken doors surrounding by wires hanging out, then we came across a strange area. The wall was broken and smashed into many pieces, and behind the wall was a small stone with broken glass on top. I looked at the ground and saw a strange looking cowbell. I decided not to ring it, and stepped over the rubble. We made it to the other side and opened a door which led to a small metal-covered office. I quickly noticed a pair of goggles with green lenses on them, so I picked it up and wore it over my head. The lenses went over my eyes and everything turned green in my vision. I looked around the office with the goggles until 049 opened the next metal door, revealing a very tall skeletal figure with demonic hands and feet. I pointed towards the creature, and both of my friends looked confused. The creature began walking towards me, and I backed away from it. The Doctor's expression quickly changed suddenly and grabbed me by my arm. He then threw a punch at the creature, with only his hand hitting half of the side, as if he was fighting blind. He then used this distraction to pull me towards the other end of the metal door, and my masked friend closed it. I took the goggles off, and handed them to 049, who was still slightly panting from the run.
"What you saw was an SCP known as 966. They are completely invisible to the naked eye, however night vision goggles will allow your vision to see their low sight frequencies." The Doctor told me, and I tried getting all the information into my head.
"Well, this area is infested with 966 hordes, so let's be careful." 035 quickly added.
It took a while, maybe even 20 minutes, but after checking each corner, doorway, and hallways, we eventually reached the Entrance Zone with no harm dealt to us. I looked up at the screen, and it was completely pitch black. I was confused because lockdown was usually initiated, 049 told me earlier.
"Well, seems like a human has disabled the border. Let's go." My masked friend spoke, and we all nodded while following him. We opened the doors with our key cards, and walked through this so-called 'Entrance Zone'. The hallways were covered in pure white which was shown in the bright lights that appeared all around the halls and it almost made me fall from how much light was shining down upon my face, but I kept going. The journey got shorter and shorter through each zone, and it only took us 3 minutes to reach something called 'SCP-079'. The Doctor opened the chamber doors, and we all walked down the steps. The computer turned on and a distorted face appeared.
"Lovely day outside the gates, despite the heavy Mobile Task Forces stationed outside. Speaking of gates however, I am guessing you wish to exit this place, yes? Well, I will let you through on one condition. If you can go to the control room, keep the override switches OFF and then break the lever, I would constantly have full control of this facility, and let you through."
It told us in a very old and glitchy voice. The Doctor and 035 looked at each other, then nodded at the computer. It's face then disappeared and the outline of an 'X' appeared on the screen. We then proceeded back up the stairs and closed the chamber doors. We began to make our way to the control room.
After what seemed like eternity, we finally reached it. The two SCPs motioned me to go up there first, and in response I nodded slowly. I began to make my way up the stairs. It looked like a control room in the Light Containment Zone, but with minor changes. We walked over to the metal door and opened it. Both of them watched me pull the lever, and then I used all my strength to rip the lever off the switch itself. Then, what they did next changed my view on SCPs forever... they closed the door behind me, and yelled into the nearest intercom "Now!". Then, as I ran up to the door to open it, nothing happened.
"Good work 079, you trapped this freak for the humans to capture." The mask shouted out towards the intercom. In response, a glitchy voice was heard on the other end saying an untranslatable dialogue in return, and 049 and 035 took their leave, trapping me in the room. I was mad, and upset too. It was like I was being played with this entire time. I tried to break the glass, and it didn't work. I tried to open the door with the broken lever, which also didn't work. I was about to give up when I heard the sound of stone scraping below me. I then heard 035's voice.
"Shit! The statue is here, let's get outta here before he lures the NTF right towards us!"
Then, I looked back at the switches. The one with the override was broken, but there were also a light system lever. I quickly pulled the lever, and everything went dark. I then heard two necks snapping a floor below me, then I heard the sound of stone scraping coming up the stairs. Once it sounded extremely close, I turned the lights on and turned around. Outside the window, there it was. The sculpture. The very thing that hugs and kills you at the same time. I looked down at it's arm and the teddy bear, or 1048, was standing on it with a note. I read the note carefully.
'You help me get crunch.'
The bear then dropped the paper and pulled another out.
'Now I give you freedom.'
Then suddenly, I didn't realise I had the urge to blink. I blinked quickly without realising, and heard a massive crash. I looked at one of the windows, and a huge hole was in the middle of it, with a trail of wires leading to a small machine that appeared broken. I looked back to where the statue and the bear were standing, but both had disappeared. I smiled to myself, and crawled out the broken glass. I looked down at where they were standing and saw a note. I picked it up.
It was a sheet covered in a spiral of the words 'Black' and 'White'. Then at the very end after reading so many letters, I found a 'Grey' at the end. I shrugged and put the paper down. I walked down the steps to find the two bodies of the traitors. I think the Doctor would be alive, but couldn't move. I went up to them, and stepped on both of their heads. I made sure nothing was left of the upper-body. I then continued on, trying to find a way out. I walked past the toilets that had yet another crying guard inside, but I did not enter. I came across a medical bay that sounded like a demon was breathing in there, so I didn't enter the room either. Eventually I came across on a four-way path. I was about to take a couple of steps forward, then I saw SCP-173 in a rounded prison. It floated in air with red barriers blocking the sculpture's escape. Then, behind the trapped SCP was a couple of humans in heavy orange equipment.
"Target spotted. Firing." Was the last thing I heard before I felt a jolt of pain slide through my head, then everything went black.
The End.
I awoke in a dark chamber, with the door barely visible... I was confused. Why was I back here?
Then, the sound of an alarm echoed through the facility, and I felt angry. I was going to make them all pay.
