"Finally out." I say happily as Astrid, Hadvar and Ralof steps out, but before anyone can comment a roar is heard and the dragon fly's over. "Its heading towards Riverwood. I hope it doesn't attach home." Hadvar says worriedly as Ralof replies looking where it disappeared to. "If it does, I'm sending it back to Oblivion." I chuckle and walks down the trail and Astrid follows close behind me joined by Ralof and Hadvar.

Standing in front of the wall to Riverwood, Nicolas soon follows behind Hadvar as he walks to the local forge and Astrid followed Ralof who heads to the Mill. "Hadvar? Is that you?" "Yes, it's me Uncle Alvor. We need to talk, but not here. Come with me." He looks at Nicolas before nodding and setting down the metal he was heating. The three makes their way to two stumps north of the Mill where currently four people stand, Alvor growls in distaste. "Ralof, Gerder, Hod. What are we doing here with these traitors?" He asks as Hadvar sighs. "Uncle, I've decide to leave the Imperial Army." "And I've decided to leave the Stormcloak rebellion. I'm sorry, but were planning on creating a third side to this." Astrid and Nicolas look at the two and thinks "This could work. Add a third side, one that's neutral. " W-Well need to o-obtain the forts scattered a-round skyrim. I-it'll be useful to t-take them from the b-bandits, or have t-them join our s-side." Astrid stutters as she gave her idea to which they all agreed. "I'll stop giving the Imperials my materials." "And we'll send wood to where ever its need for repairs." Alvor and Gerder says agreeing to join their side.

Nicolas POV

After the short negotiation I head towards the Riverwood trader and enters only to hear an argument. "Lucan, please we need to go out and take it back, it's what fath-" "Camilla, that's enough, and do not bring him up, he abandoned us, we do not need that claw. Please, it's already taken our brother." She sighs before turning and running up the stairs in tears. Lucan watches with a sad look before he notices me. "Oh, I'm sorry you had to see that. We've had a bit of complications in the family. So, how can I help you?" I look from the stairs then back at Lucan. "Yes, I have several items to sell." I say as I pull out several weapons from the escape of Helgen. "Hmm, that's a nice haul, not gonna ask where you got it, but I'll pay 350 for the entire thing." "Agreed." Lucan hands him the coin and I head back outsides.

Looking around I head to Sleeping Giants Inn where a dog walks around playing with a young boy. I smile at the sight and heads into the inn to hear the bard playing his song and the bartender talking to a man at the bar table. I walk to the bar and takes a seat as a woman walks over on the other side of the table. "Welcome to my establishment, Sleeping Giants Inn, my names Delphine and my husband Orgnar, what can I get you?" I nod at the male Nord who nods back. "You have a place I can stay for the night?" "Ten septums for a night." I hand her the ten and heads to the room she pointed at. Setting my supplies I kept at the foot of the bed I walk back out and takes a seat at the fire before taking a log and starts to carve out large chunks from it into the fire.

As I work on the log, I ask for some water and a venison steak, with grilled potato and continues to work on the item, creating the base in which he is currently hollowing out. As I was about to starts on the neck when my order comes, handed to me by Orgnar and I pay for it before eating and starring at the fire.

Once I had finished my meal, the door opens and Astrid walks in with Ralof and Hadvar. "Hey, Nick. Were heading to Whiterun to speak to the Jarl, want to come?" "Sure. Hey Delphine! Think I can place the remaining hours on hold?" She looks at me and nods. "Thanks. Alright, lets go. Thanks for the delicious meal Orngar." The four of use heads out after I grabbed my bag from my room and the item I've been working on.

Hadvar tilts his head and looks at the carved wood. "Hey, whats that? It looks like a lute." I look down at it before holding it up. "I'm carving out a guitar for playing later on once it's finished." He looks at me then the guitar before walking out and I following.

I put put on the bag and works on the strings from a lute he got from the bard earlier in the day. An hour passes as they passed a wolf, who was killed, an escort of Imperials and a Stormcloak prisoner, and a battle against a giant tearing up a farm. They had met a group of four calling themselves the Champions.

The group soon reaches the walls of Whiterun. I looks at a caravan that was set up outside the city full of cat like people. "Khajiit, they come from Elsweyr, their home that is covered in heat and burning sands." Ralof says as he glances as them and continues on.

I walk towards the Khajiit in front of a tent full of supplies, on a mat sitting cross legged. "Hello Traveler. How may I help you today, any weapon or armour to kill or protect? Food for the hungry or ingredients for alchemy? Or maybe materials for the forge to build your equipment? All that, Raija has in his caravan at nice and decent dealings." The newly introduced Raija asks as he looks up at me with a friendly grin. 'Might be a good idea to help and buy something.'

I nod and silently looks around as I look at a familiar and yet unknown blade. "Raija. How much for this blade." I ask as I point towards a black sheathed curved sword with chains around the hilt and sheath. "Ahhh, she was given to us by a woman with long red hair and fiery temper. Don't know of her as she just disappeared after giving me it some 15 winters ago, not taking the gold. You can have it for 50 septums, I have no use of it. No one ,who had asked, couldn't break the chains from it." He reaches over and gently grabs the blade and hands it to me. "Free if you can remove the blade from it's sheath."

Slowly I take the sword from Raijas hand. One hand was placed on the ebony black with designs etched into the sheath, the most prominent is a whirlpool like design. The guard is a red metal with a rose pattern, the hilt is primarily red with the cloth being black wrapped around the handle forming diamonds exposing the red. The hilt is a black stone with another with a red rose colored stone and design in it. My fingers around the hilt softly feeling the smooth cloth.

Silence blankets the area as nothing moves or makes a sound as I slowly pull it from its sheath only to be stopped by the glowing red chains, that soon releases a loud but not ear breaking snap as the chains snap and shatters into fragments and dust. I slowly pull it from the handle and shows a full black blade with a sharp red edge to it like their was blood on it, an symbols on its blade that caused the Khajiits eyes to widen. "Death Rose now is yours, young traveler. Do take good care of her, and may the roads lead you to warm sands." He says as he gets up and heads towards a bed roll.

I nod to the retreating Khajiit and slides Rose back into her sheath before strapping her to my side and returning up the road towards the gate of Whiterun, but stopped by a guard. "Halt, Whiterun is closed to all outsiders, with the talk of dragons about." "I came traveling with three others, two-." "Oh, come in. They mentioned you'd be a bit behind." He interrupts me when I was about to mention the three. Both guards open the gate and lets me pass into Whiterun.

I'll end it here. Next will be interesting. Ja ne.
