Hello! So, how do you like the book so far? What do you think about Jessica and Bucky's relationship?
Jessica's POV
The next morning I got up and got dressed into a pair of sweatpants and a running shirt. I planned to run this morning before meeting Bucky. I grabbed a map of the Helicarrier, and started to run. One and a half hours later, I had ended my run at the breakfast room. Yesterday, as Steve and I walked to my room, he had introduced me to everyone. The Asgurdian, Thor, was stuffing his face full of poptarts. Some things I will never know why they are what they are. The billionaire, Tony, was drinking something with alcohol, I could smell it, and reading the newspaper. The monster, Bruce, was drinking coffee, while working out some math calculations. Widow, Natasha, was trying to talk to a half awake Clint. Captain, Steve, was not awake yet. I got a pancake and went to sit with Bruce, because I am good at math.
"That one is wrong." I said pointing to a calculation. He nodded and rewrote it. Then Steve came in, got a cup of coffee, and sat down next to me. He hugged me and I heard him murmur, "I still can't believe your alive." I whispered back, "But I am."
After breakfast, we walked along the prison cells. I stopped at one holding a man with shiny black hair slicked back into a curl along his neckline. "Ignore Loki." Steve said and we continued until he stopped at a cell. Inside was Bucky. He had the same wavy brown hair, but he looked older. He was staring at the ground, but when we stopped, he looked up. He recognized me, and stood up. He tried to walk over to where I was, but was stopped by the force field keeping him in there.
"Jessie." He said, using his one of his many old nicknames for me. Steve swiped a card, and the force field dissipated. I stepped up close to him, and he kissed me. It felt good to finally kiss him again. When he let go, I felt for his hand, but only felt metal. I gasped as he showed my his metal arm. Suddenly I heard a beep behind me. I turned to see that Steve had swiped his card again then started to walk away, trapping us in here.I dropped my shield, that I had been holding that entire time, and started hitting the force field yelling at Steve to come and let us out.
"It's no use, believe me, I've tried." Bucky said behind me. I stopped and turned to him. He had a glint of fun in his eyes, and a familiar smirk.
"No." I said, but he grabbed my arm and said, "Come on, we haven't done this for years. I've been waiting for you for about 70 years! I need you, Jess." He said using another nickname for me. I couldn't resist him anymore. I pushed him down to the floor, and kissed him. I slipped my hands under his shirt, and felt him tense up, then soften. Just as he reached under my shirt to unclip my bra strap, I heard a woman's voice say, "What the h*ll are you doing?"
Bucky pushed me off of him, and I saw Agent Maria Hill, with Director Nick Fury by her side.
"I...I...We...used to be together, and we were...catching up on what I had missed." I stuttered. Maria swiped her card, and I got up, after kissing Bucky, and left. I heard her swipe her card again, but I kept walking. Nick appeared behind me and said, "You can't just come in here and do that, you know that, right? And how did you get in here?"
"Steve brought me here so I could see my boyfriend, Bucky. Then Steve trapped me and Bucky in here, and we decided to catch up on what I had missed." I said.Comment
