Chapter 3: Am I seeing double?(narrorated by Steele)

I was never thought of losing my edge, nobody thought I could be outran by anyone. Even though I won the race, for the third time in a row.
"Hey! Outta my way, Lobo!" I snarled, not realizing there were two stray dogs. They weren't planning on breaking my untouchable record at all, they were just retrieving that hat for a little girl, or wait--Do I see two hats? Am I losing my mind? Well, those two mutton heads got across to the other side of the track.
"Congratulations there, boss, there. It was a pleasure runnin' behind youse". Niki, one of my teammates congratulated me. "Of course, the view got monotonous" He mumbled.
"You were the most amazing, the most exalted, the most preeminent, top-drawer--" Kaltag started, but was interrupted by Star.
"You won!" Star exclaimed, before getting bashed on the head by Kaltag.
"Hmm.  I don't know. You think maybe Steele's losing his edge?" My musher asked the photographer, which was something I didn't want to hear.
"Yeah, looks like just about any dog could outrun him" Replied the photographer, which angered me.
"Balto! What a crazy thing to do just to show off to a pretty girl" Rosy started, as well as her older sister, Connie.
"Lucas! What a crazy thing to do just to show off to a pretty girl" Connie said, smiling.
"I'm sure Jenna and Brittney would love to have you on her team" Connie and Rosy both said, as they started to put the collars around the two mutts necks.
