Skylar's P.O.V:

When it reaches midnight, we all head back to Piper's house for a sleepover. We walk down to the basement to place some cushions, pillows and blankets on the ground. Once we finish, Piper goes upstairs to find some food while we get settled.

Hannah and Luke lay down next to each other, giggling and pecking each other's lips occasionally. Ashton lays down next to them, waiting for Piper to get back. Calum lays down on the other side of the room while I stand awkwardly in the middle.

"Sky, come here." Calum whispers to me, noticing my awkwardness.

I walk over to him slowly and climb under the blankets.

"I know it hurts. I know it hurts." He repeats soothingly as I bury my head in his chest.

"Cal, I don't want to be sad anymore but I- I can't help it." I sob quietly.

"You're allowed to be sad, Sky. It's all a part of life." He tells me.

"I don't like life at the moment." I mumble making Calum laugh a little.

"Neither do I, Skyler. Neither do I." He whispers, placing a sweet kiss on my forehead.

Soon enough, Piper walks back down the staircase with a pizza box in her hand. Everyone jumps at the chance while I just stay where I am. Calum comes back and hands me a plate with two slices of pepperoni pizza on it.

"Thank you." I smile, placing it down beside me.

Calum gets back under the blankets, wrapping his arms around me and resting his plate on his stomach.

"Cal?" I ask, looking into his eyes.

"Yeah, Sky?"

"Can you sing to me?" I ask.

"Sure." He smiles.

He begins to sing 'All About You' by McFly as I slowly begin to drift off to sleep.

*Dream*

"Michael!" I squealed, running towards him.

We were meeting for the second time ever. Michael invited me out to the movies since it was the weekend. He said he wanted to get to know me a little more before we went back to school on Monday.

"Hey, Skylar." He said, wrapping his arms around my waste.

He wore dark blue, denim jeans, a white tee-shirt with a blue checked shirt over it, his black and white vans, and a few weaved bracelets on his left wrist. I was wearing a grey and black, striped jersey over my plain black singlet top, along with my black skinny jeans and plain black vans. My hair was done in a simple French braid while Michael's was in its usual flick to the side.

We walked into the movie theatre, sitting right at the back to avoid any annoying kids that would happen to be near us during the movie.

"I'm really excited to see this. I loved 'Fast and Furious 4!'" Michael exclaimed.

"Same. It was a great movie." I laughed.

As the movie started, everyone settled down. Eventually, I ended up resting my head on Michael's shoulder.

"Are you alright there, Sky?" Michael whispered, giggling.

"Yup." I laughed quietly.

When I felt a strong hand clasp around mine, I quickly took hold of it and looked up to see a smirk on Michael's face. My cheeks instantly felt hot as I tried to focus on the movie.

When the movie finished, we walked to a small café around the corner. We ordered a smoothie each and talked while waiting for them to arrive at our table.

"I like your company." Michael blurted out, a smile on his face.

"Well that was kind of random." I laughed. "But I like your company too. You make me laugh."

"We should hang out more." He said, taking my hand in his.

"Yeah, we should." I smiled, squeezing his hand.

"Here are your drinks." The waiter said, placing our drinks in front of us.

"Thank you." We both said in unison.

Michael started to hum a tune as he drank his smoothie while I sat there and giggled. He raised his eyebrows at me, a smirk on his face.

"What?" He finally asked, letting a laugh escape from his lips.

"Nothing." I sighed, smirking back at him. "What song was that?"

"Dear Maria by All Time Low." He answered.

"I love that song!" I squeaked.

We talked for about half an hour before walking home. We walked through the forest, following the path until we made it to the park. We ran around, smiles on our faces as we played around. Michael ran up behind me, lifting me up and spinning around.

We walked home, our hands laced together until we came to my doorstep.

"Thank you for today, Michael. I had a great time." I smiled.

"You're very welcome." He replied. "I really hope we can do this again."

"I have a feeling we will." I blushed.

"Well, just to make sure we do..." He trailed off.

Before I knew what was happening, Michael's lips gently placed a kiss onto mine. My eyes fluttered closed as I enjoyed the unfamiliar sensation.

*Dream Ends*

I wake up with tears streaming down my cheeks. Calum is stirring but finally wakes up.

"Hey. Hey, it's okay." He whispers groggily.

I cuddle into his chest, trying to stop the tears from falling. Calum tries to calm me down but I just can't stop the tears from falling. I love Michael and he's not here anymore. I don't know how I'm going to cope the rest of my life without him.

"Come with me." He says, getting up.

I follow Calum upstairs and into the living room. We sit down on the couch as I try to dry my eyes.

"It's half past three in the morning, Skylar." Calum states. "Did you even sleep?"

"Yes. I had a dream and it woke me up." I whisper.

"How long were you awake after your dream ended?"

"Only about two minutes." I reply.

"This can't keep happening. It's affecting your sleep, Sky." He says, running a hand through his hair. "It's been over three weeks. I know it's normal to grieve but you're exhausted. We need something to get your mind off of Michael."

"I don't know what's going to work, Cal. I just can't get my mind off of him." I say.

"We'll deal with this in the morning. Let's go back to bed." Calum replies, standing up.

"I won't be able to sleep though." I argue, standing up anyway.

"We could sleep here so we don't wake up the others. You can sleep in my arms. I'll protect you." He assures me. "Just wake me up if you need anything."

I thank Calum, giving him a hug before he takes a blanket off of the couch. Resting my head in his chest, he wraps his arms around my body.

"Good night, Cal." I whisper, looking up at him.

"Good night, Sky." He replies, placing a kiss on my forehead.
