Chapter 5 - She Transforms

~~~~~~~~~NORMAL P.O.V.~~~~~~
Red Hood, or Crystal, is running through the forest and Andrew leads Ahsley and Josh the same direction as her except give her a few feet of space so they don't look like criminals.
"Come on! We have to catch her before she escapes!" "Right!" Some guards yell at each other while chasing Red Hood on their horses.
Suddenly, Red Hood stops running.
"Have you finally given up little princess?" One of the guards say teasingly with a nasty grin on his face.
Red Hood falls to her knees in pain and grunts.
"What is going on?" One of the human guards asks.
"I don't know." A devil guard replies.

~~~~~~~~~ASHLEY P.O.V.~~~~~~~

Andrew, Josh, and I are hiding in some bushes near where Red Hood and the guards are at. She fell to her knees and is grunting in pain. I have no idea what's going on and I am honestly scared.
"What the heck is happening..?" I hear Josh whisper.
"I have no idea.." was all I could reply. Andrew is looking at Red Hood with fear, confusion, and worry.
Please, let everything be ok..

~~~~~~~~~RED HOOD P.O.V.~~~~~

Ow! My back hurts so bad!
A human guard starts to approach me but a devil guard stops him and goes instead. I'm in so much pain and I have no idea what is going on. I scream in agony and the devil guard flinched back a little. My back hurts more and more until...Wings....Beautiful wings sprout out of my back. Black, aqua, and blood red colored wings. I cover myself with my new wings, not wanting to see anyone's face.

~~~~~~~~~NORMAL P.O.V.~~~~~~

"WHAT!?!?!?" A devil guard yells. The other guards just gasp at the sight, not knowing what to do.
Andrew, Ashley, and Josh are looking at Red Hood's wings in awe, taking in the beauty of her dangerous yet beautiful wings.
"So..pretty.." Andrew whispers.

A devil guard says, "I doubt the king knows of this..This is not good."

The human guards are confused but are too frightened to ask any questions. They know not of Red Hood, nor her past, or of the guards that they thought were human like them. The human guards run towards their town in fear.

Red Hood moves one of her wings slightly to see that the five human guards have left. She flies into the air and says with a venemous voice, "Don't you humans dare to leave.."
The human guards are unsure of what to do and look back and forth from the winged devil princess and their human town. One of them faints from the stress. The other four take a few more steps back and stops.

~~~~~~~RED HOOD P.O.V.~~~~~

They are all afraid of me....Good...

I see that even the devils have frightened faces, as much as they try to hide it. I can still see it.

"All five of you, you should have never came to my father! He's now controlling you!"
I see them with angered faces now. I hear the leader of them yell back at me, "He would never do that! You need to go back and let us devils take over all realms and the whole world!"
He laughs like a maniac. I believe it's disgusting. How could my father do such damage to these devils who were once good? How could they turn from good peaceful devils to the ones that humans make stories of, no, worse than that. It angers me so much. I close my eyes, holding back my tears of anger.
I slowly open my eyes again to see one of the human guards aiming his arrow at me. He's ready to let go of the arrow and let his bow launch it. He launches the arrow.
Before the arrow is even close to me, I was already angered enough that I can feel my eyes go to their fiery red. I catch the arrow in my right hand without harming myself in any way. Anger filled me. I crush the arrow in my hands as the human is filled with fear and tries to run away.
"Don't. You. Dare."
I use magic to make a black bow and a blood red arrow. I shoot it at the man's leg and he falls to the ground yelling in pain.
They need to know who's in charge... They need to know I am not weak.. They will feel my anger....
Everyone can obviously sense my anger by their face expressions. My arrow dissapears as I decide to not use it.
"Have you forgotten why Father wants me?" I ask.
Silence.
"BECAUSE OF MY POWER! It isn't easy to kill me. But it's easy for me to kill you!" I yell in an annoyed voice.

~~~~~~~NORMAL P.O.V.~~~~~~~~

"No.. Please don't kill Red Hood." Ashley whispers to herself, shaking in fear.
Red Hood's eyes are still red and her nail grow into claws..Long claws... She charges towards the human guards, angry that they dared to try and harm her with a weak arrow, believing that it could harm her. But Ashley came in front of Red Hood screaming, "NOOO!!!" Not wanting the humans to get hurt. But, Red Hood swung her right claw at her and made a big wound on Ashley's left shoulder.
Ashley faints and Red Hood returns to normal, no wings, no long nails/claws, and no red eyes. Red Hood's eyes were halfed closed, only showing half of her aqua eyes and she falls to her knees on the ground asking, "What....Happened....To me..?" And Red Hood falls to the ground, passing out.
All ten guards have left to the town, to scared of what might happen.
Andrew and Josh come out of the bushes and Andew picks up Red Hood bridal style. Josh picks up Ashley, throwin her over his shoulder like she was a bag of garbage.
"We need to find a place to stay for a bit." Andrew says, Josh just nods in agreement.
Andrew and Josh, careying the girls, they walk a few miles away from the town and feom where they were. They couldn't go back to Red Hood's little house because the guards have already discovered where that is. They stopped in a place in rhe forest where there's many trees surrounding them. They set down the girls and gather material from nature to build a little shelter. Andrew got some large leaves, cleaned them, and wrapped them around Ashley's wound. As he got up from wrapping Ashley's wound, Red Hood woke up. She tries to get up but falls back down.
"Ow..." She groaned.
"Careful Red, you put on quite a show earlier." He giggles.
"Where are we? What happened? Wait...Did you. Did you guys see my wings..?" She asks, worried.
"We built a shelter a few miles away from where we were and the town. The guards found you and you put on a little show, as well as showing your wings, claws, and red eyes."
"YOU LOOKED SO AWESOME!! LIKE AN AWESOME CHARACTER FROM A GAME!!" Josh yelled and woke up Ashley.
"WHAT THE HECK MAN!? YOU WOKE ME UP AND-AHHHHH!! I NEED A HOSPITAL NOW!!" Ashley screams in terror as she saw her wound and the blood.
Red Hood quietly giggles as she hears something and turn toward the direction of the town, her giggles turn silent and her face serious.
"What is it?" Josh asks.
Andrew looks through a small telescope and sees horses coming. Many horses with men on them.
"We have to move. They've found us." Andrew says.
"I can fight them. I've healed already." Red Hood says, but Andrew nods his head in disagreement.
"We have to move. There's no good in fighting them."
"There's no good in anything in this world. What's different?" Red Hood mumbles.
"Hey, what was it the guards called you? Crystal?" Andrew asks annoyed.
Red Hood just atays silent and burns the little shelter they made do erase the evidence that they were here.
"We spent so long on that though.." Josh says with sadness, like when a kid has been told no to getting their favorite candy.
"Let's go." Red Hood says, showing no emotion. Ashley gets up as Andrew is a bit worried that he got on her bad side. They leave their now destroyed shelter and look for another place to hide. After miles of walking and running, they hear laughter, laughter that sounded like it came from a girl. The laughter sounded like it had happiness but sadness as well. "Who could it be?" was what all of them were thinking.
