"I'm guessing you didn't rent this car."
"I didn't think you were going to oppose to grand theft auto."
"Not today." Alice's features all of a sudden went blank.
"They refused him."

"When the clock strikes and the sun is at its highest." Bella's breathing became faster as she ran a hand through her hair.
We drove into the city. People in red parted as the yellow Porsche came through.
"Why are they all in red?"
"Saint Marcos Day festival. They're commemorating the expulsion of vampires in the city. It's the perfect setting. The Volturi will never let him get far enough to reveal himself."
"Alice, we have five minutes." She was basically hyperventilating as Alice was trying to calm her down and here I was sitting in the backseat still wondering why I was there. She drove further until a policeman signaled for her to stop. Without a thought, Bella was out the door.
"Alice."

"At the end of the clock tower. Go!" She slammed the door and took off. Alice finally rolled down the window for the officer.
