It's been a week since the day that Trevor and Hunter moved in, nothing much has happened. Only a couple of awkward encounters with Zoe and Trevor in the hall way. The brothers still laugh at her and call her "Trippy", I guess it'll stick forever. Maddie has come back from her trip to see her fam and has heard more about the infamous "Hunter and Trevor". Anywhoozles, today is Alexa's first day of college! Maddie's first day already happened a couple of days ago because of all of the classes she takes, she doesn't know what she wants as her major so she's double majoring. What a study bug! This isn't Zoe's first rodeo though because she is in a grade older than both Mad and Alexa. So, there's no new school year to begin, only the one from last year continuing.

Alexa

Crap crap crap! I'm running so late. I'm dead. I throw on a random sweater and boots, luckily I slept leggings so pants were taken care of. Pro tip: being lazy never fails, always prevails! I ran out of my bedroom and into the kitchen, almost tripping on my untied shoe lace but not quite. Then I see her. Brace yourselves folks because this wasn't Maddie in the kitchen but Zoe. The literal definition of waking up on the wrong side of the bed, but every single morning.

"Alexa?! What are you doing here still, your class starts in...(she looks over at the clock on the oven the shouts)  ten minutes!"

"I know I know, I gotta go! I'm gonna have to run over there and I don't know if I'll make it in time."

Zoe sighs a classic sigh "Alexa! You better be thankful I filled the van up with gas this morning, now go!" She runs over to her purse then throws me her keys. She then puts my backpack on me and pushes me towards the door.

I stop dead in my tracks, making her rebound into me. "No, don't make me, please."

Zoe has a dumbfounded, confused look. She always looks so serious. "What are you taking about?"

"I can't drive the van, I can't do it. (I shook my head ferociously) Not on the first day of college!"

"Well Alexa, you have no choice. You could've had Mad drop you off before she went to work but it's too late and I'm not wearing pants so I can't be seen. It's your fault for choosing a morning class! Unlike Mad and I, we arranged our schedule to where we had classes we could get to on time, like in the evening!"

"Well I don't work like ya'll so I didn't have to choose classes for after work. Also, you said yourself morning classes would be good for me because they keep me on a routine!"

"OK, ok Alexa chill. I know it sucks but you have no choice, you have to get to class so go."

"UAhhhhh, ok I'm leaving but you have to meet me for lunch and we're going to schlotzsky's!"

I shut the door and run to the elevator.

"HEY HOLD THE DOOR!"

"What?"

I ran into the elevator just in time and I see Hunter again.

"Sorry I'm running late for class and I'm in a real big hurry."

"Oh uhm that's cool. My class is in about 30 minutes or so."

We arrive down stairs and I part ways with Hunter. No time for manners.

"Bye hunt-" and I was off into the garage to find my sisters crap car. I sped my way to class. Honestly I always go pretty fast but this was a new record! 80 in a 45 and I didn't get a ticket! I made it to class just as the bells was ringing. Just my luck!!

Class was ok. I mean how interesting can a syllabus day be. I texted Zoe saying how class was over and I would meet her for lunch. I got into Zoe's car and drove back to the apartment to get her. I wonder if maddie is off of work? Maybe we can get lunch with her.

Why did we have to live in the city. Traffic sucks. The cars were driving slower than Zoe takes to get ready. I have been sitting at this stop light for 5 minutes. I turned up the radio and flipped through numerous stations til I found a song that didn't suck. Quietly humming to myself...

"HEY ALEXA!"

What the heck?!

I look around trying to find where I heard my name. Am I going crazy?

Then I see Hunter.

He is waving like a complete dork. Smile and all. How convenient.

I roll down my window to see that he had already rolled his down.

"How was class Alexa?" He is grinning like dweeb. Does he now know he just comes off as a super stalker right now?

"It was ok I suppose."

"Ah well cool!" The light turned green. "Well, see you at home! UH I MEAN THE APARTMENTS! YEA THOSE."

Haha he's such a nit wit.

"Alright Hunter, well I'm going to lunch with my sister but I'll see you soon!"

And with that we were on our separate ways. Although, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of something in my stomach as he turned another corner. Maybe I was just hungry for lunch though.
