Anirudh turned to find Amitash and Hrishikesh looking dapper in their obviously new set of milk coloured veshti sattai though they had the advantage of tying their dhoti in the ordinary way of a Tamil man unlike him. "Deii macha! Ready ah?"asked Amitash, with a grin so wide that it exhibited all his upper set of whitened teeth. Anirudh grinned back. Amitash had been his best friend since their younger days. If there was one person whom he could trust with all his heart(besides his mom), it would most definitely be Amitash. Amitash had been his wingman in high school when Anirudh had his first crush, Sangeetha. He bribed Amitash to write him cheesy love letters and be his mediator by telling Sangeetha how much he loved her. Likewise, Anirudh had always had Amitash's back as well, helping him out with venturing a career in acting. "Avan yeppovo ready, illa da?"chimed Hrishikesh. Hrishikesh, Anirudh's cousin and an actor, was also very dear to him. They were the living example of the saying that goes, cousins make the best of friends. Tall, well built with fair complexions the two young men stood, joking with the bridegroom before the priest, a frail old Brahmin, tapped Anirudh on the shoulder saying that it was about time they left. Anirudh sped off with the priest, reaching the wedding hall in less than 10 minutes, much to the priest's shock. After getting off the car, the priest called out to Anirudh. "Thambi, paathu pa. Intha maathiri vaandi otinelna maximum 5 days la ungga aathukaari avaa aathuku odiduvaa! Please pa. Konjam speed-ah paathuko da pa,"he said quite pale after the alarming experience of being driven by the Kolaveri kid.
Anirudh choked back a laugh, nodding at the poor man who had gone white. He was everything but disrespectful of others and their opinions. He wrapped an arm around the older man and walked him into the hall. "Okay, Visu Mama. Calm down. Let's rock this wedding together!"he smiled, diverting the priest's attention to the supposed highlight of the day. They strolled into the vast, majestic hall. "MACHAAA!!" a familiar voice rang in Anirudh's ears. Sreyas ran to him, embracing him with all his might. "I'm so happy for you, da Ani! Anjali and you are meant to be," he said in his fake Australian accent. Anirudh rewinded what Sreyas had just said. Will he be happy with Anjali? Were they really meant to be together or was it just another fateful trick played by Krishna, like he did to the Pandavas? They chatted away just like old times with Iyappan and Aravind joining in upon reaching the venue of the marriage, primarily about how their careers were going and it eventually drifted off to dirty jokes(as usual). Though Anirudh was full of joy, he still had a dark being at a dusted part of his head screaming that this marriage was nothing but trouble, bewildering him even more. He excused himself from his friends to find Anjali.
Oh dear! Anirudh feels that something would go dreadfully wrong if he engaged himself to this marital life. Why??? What is he planning to do next? Will be updating chapters every weekend from now onwards! Keep supporting guys! Love y'all!
