Chapter 3

These past few days, my mind has been puzzled out by everything. I'm having weird nightmares. Yung tipong nauuhaw ka sa isang alaala, there were some things happened that night I can't remember.

I went out and bumili sa convenience store ng iced coffee. I'm so stress and I'm having a fcking headache for almost everyday.

Umupo ako sa vacant seat ng store, watching at the cars passing by. I need to think because I'm out of focus.

Suddenly, I received a message from Alice.

From Alice:
Cel, how are you? We missed you already. Take care of yourself okay? Be aware of the vampires roaming around the country.

I shut down my phone. I need to be alone, I'll just talk to her later. Vampires. Bakit ganun? Bakit kalaban na kalaban namin ang mga vampires? And bakit di nila inileak ang existence namin?

You owe me one.

Yan yung mga salitang paulit ulit kong naririnig sa utak ko. What the hell is happening to me?
Feeling ko paranoid na ako.

After kong inubos yung coffee tinignan ko yung orasan lumalalim na ang gabi so I need to go home na. Binilisan ko rin ang paglakad ko pauwi. When I got home, diretso akong bumagsak sa higaan.

My powers are getting weak. I need to train again. Kaya habang nakahiga, I tried to cast some spells for practice. My spells are highly connected to the fire element.

After kong magpractice namalayan ko na ang antok so hinayaan ko nalang ang sarili kong makatulog.

Somebody help me.

"Please, don't. Please don't kill me," I was crying as I was saying those words.

He was walking towards me. With fangs, red eyes, craving for my blood.

I need to do something. But I can't remember. Nawawalan na ako ng focus pano gamitin spells ko. Please help me.

"Come here little caster," he was about to open his mouth trying to bite my neck.

I was catching my breathe. It was just a dream. Just a dream. Just a dream. What was that? I was dreaming of vampires.

I called Alice, but she didn't answer. I guess she's still sleeping. I looked at the clock. It's still 2am.

Hindi nalang ako natulog, I cooked for my breakfast and I did my assignment. After kong mag assignment lumabas ako sa terrace para magpahangin. Isang malakas na hangin ang dumaan, a cold wind kisses my skin. Bigla akong kinilabutan, kasabay ng hangin ramdam ko ang mga matang nakatitig saakin kaya pumasok ulit ako dahil nakaramdam ako ng takot.

Halos matumba ako ng narinig ko na naman yung mga salitan iyon na bumubulong sa isipan ko. What is this? Sumasakit yung ulo ko. It feels like I was deceived by someone.

I called Alice again, and by this time she answered my call.

"A-Alice..."

"Cel? Why so early? Did something happened? Are you okay?"

"I-I d-don't know what's happening to me."

"Why? What happened?"

I feel guilty for waking her up. Naalala kong hindi ko siya dapat sabihan sa mga nangyayari, I know this is a part of my quest.

"N-nothing. Nevermind, its just I'm not feeling well. I'm sorry for waking you up Ali."

I ended the call and went to my bedroom. I practiced again my spells para madivert yung utak ko sa concentration.
