I stop by the road side from time to time to read the placards of civil war battles
It is the HIStory of my nation
It happened
And the monuments are real art!!!
That real artisans have labored to produce
So I am totally against the defacing and indiscriminate destruction of their fine works
Especially those of antiquity
To eradicate their work will never change the past
It will only rob each of us an opportunity to enjoy the artists works
I pray that no one ever turns against the poets of the world and sets out to destroy our works...
It would truly be catastrophic!!!
