I groaned, my eyes fluttering open. The smell of blood over whelmed me, and I tried to scramble away, only to feel the pain return. I screamed, tears rushing down my warm cheeks. Shakily, I looked down at my body, only to be horrified by what I saw.
My legs were ripped open in multiple areas, and I had a huge gash on my hip. I groaned, leaning over, and vomiting up bile.
The nightmare returned to me. The screams of my pack, and the panic filled voices telling me to run.. Pain filled my head. It hurt to remember. It hurt to remember the war.
I leant my head against the tree behind me, shutting my eyes and breathing heavily. The chirping of birds brought me back to reality, and I finally took in my surroundings.
I was in a forest, blood stains and claw marks on almost every tree. Bodies were scattered everywhere, some were my pack, and some were unfamiliar. The strong smell of rotten flesh made me feel like vomiting again.
I had to get out of here.
I had to.
"Is anyone there?!" I screamed in my head, desperate for a response. Nothing. Just silence.
Tears streamed down my face and I sat there, sobbing and screaming like a pyscho. I guess you act like a pyscho, when everyone you love is dead.
I heard a twig snap, and my eyes opened. I grew silent. As I looked around, my eyes landed on a human like figure walking straight towards me.
I screamed, scrambling away, trying to get away from it. They couldn't kill me. I was the last one.
It's hand grabbed my leg, and I winced as my wounds re-opened. I yelled, and turned around to face the person. It was a man. He was still young. His hair was a chocolate brown, and his eyes were a hazel colour. He was cute, that's for sure. Once he realised he was hurting me, he pulled his hand away, blood covering his hand.
"I'm sorry! Please don't go! I'm trying to help you!" He said, almost desperately. My head tilted slightly. When I spoke, I tried my hardest to stop my voice from shaking, but failed miserably.
"I-I need hel-." I began, but fainted before I could finish.

"She needs to rest, and once she is calm, and on her way to recovering, I want you to take her back to her room, show her around, make her feel at home." A deep voice said. The buzzing and beeps of machines overwhelmed me, and I groaned loudly.
"Oh, sorry, hun. Better turn that off, aye." A feminine voice said. The noises stopped, and I blinked my eyes, the bright lights blinding me for a few seconds.
Once my eyes were fully adjusted to the lights, I tried to sit up, but winced, causing the nurse to help me back down.
"Are you alright, darling?" The feminine voice from before said. I looked at her, taking in her appearance. She was tiny, probably 5ft. She seemed middle-aged, and had bright red hair. Her eyes were a dark brown, and she seemed very fragile.
I nodded slightly. My eyes scanned the room, but stopped once they landed on him. The guy from before, in the forest. He smiled softly at me, but his smile was soon gone when the tall man beside him turned to look at him.
The tall man was very muscular, and had tattoos all over his arms. His hair was jet black, and his eyes were silver. I almost got lost in their swirling depts, until he said, "Who are you?"
I frowned slightly at his sudden question. I had just been attacked, and almost killed! I was about to spit back a rude statement, but decided against it. "I'm London. London Grey. You are?"
He smirked slightly, and when he spoke his voice was proud. "Jay Oliver. I'm the Beta of the Pack of Shadows." Jay then tilted his head slightly towards the guy standing next to him. "He's Red Stur. One of the pack's guards,"
"and I'm Lisa Woods. The pack's head doctor." Lisa finished, smiling softly at me.
Jay turned to Lisa, looking at her odly. "Is she fit enough to be taken to her room, maybe shown around?" He asked.
Lisa nodded. "After she has had a bite to eat. I'll need someone to escort her up there, though." She said, turning towards me. A nurse strolled over handing me some water, and pancakes.
I ate all the 5 pancakes, and drank all my water. I didn't even notice Jay leave, and Red waiting patiently for me.
Once I had eaten all my food, the nurses helped me stand up, and I had to lean against Red, and it made me blush when he smirked at me.
I awkwardly limped outside, and was immediately in awe about my surroundings.
The hallways were a beautiful cream colour, and the ground was tiles. Huge windows ran along the hallways, making it bright. Outside I could see some stone pathways, covered by a wooden roof. People walked up and down, and some looked at me strangely.
Red laughed. I turned to face him. "What?" I asked, frowning. He shrugged. "You just got a bit of drool there." He said, a goofy smile spreading across his face. I had to giggle. His smile was so cute.
As he led me through the hallways, we got to know each other. Red was a 18 year old Guard, who's parents died a few years ago. He was a only child, and his best friend, Mikah, who was the Alpha's Son, had acted like a brother since they were kids.
"So were is Mikah?" I asked, a frown appearing on Red's usually happy face. "The lucky guy got to go overseas on a holiday. He'll be back in a few weeks." He said.
"So, London.. May I ask, what pack were you a part of?" Red asked, looking at me. His hazel eyes made me want to melt, until his question hit me. Sadness filled my face, and I looked away. "The Royal Pack."
He let go of me, making me stumble and fall. "What the hell, Red!?" I yelled, groaning as blood began to stain my hospital dress. He was looking at me, his eyes wide and his mouth open.
"Y-your.. A royal blood?" He asked, shaking slightly. I nodded. I wouldn't tell him everything, especially the part about me being the Alpha of the Royal Pack's daughter.
"Oh my gosh.. I'm sorry I dropped you." He said, bending down and helping me back up. I frowned at him. "Hmph."
"I'm so sorry about what happened to your pack, London.." He began, but a growl began forming in my throat. That must of reminded him.
"Wait! Doesn't that mean you have a gift?" Red asked, turning to face me fully. I nodded, embarressed. "What is it!?!" He demaned, making me giggle at his curiosity.
"I can feel what other people feel. I can take away feelings, and also control feelings and change them."

"Here's your room." Red said, opening the door. It deffinently was different then my one at home.
It was the same cream colour as outside, and the ground was carpet. The bed was a double, and there was a balcony with a hammock. The bathroom was reasonable size, and there was a flat screen.
"Thanks, Red." I said, smiling at him. "No problem." He said, taking a step outside.
"Oh, Red wait!"
"Yes?" He answered, looking at me.
"I hope we can be friends." I said, blushing slightly.
"We already are."
