Try Harder

Chapter 2: Dangerous Man

After the whole talk about his father, it made it harder for Jax to sleep.

In the morning he woke up and went to the living room. everyone was awake.
"Hey bro, how did you sleep last night?" Cosmo asked.
"I actually, I slept better then I have in months." Jax said. Cosmo nodded.
"So guys, My dad said that, it was his time, and it was my turn. I'm going to the Main Universe, and you don't have to come with me." Jax said. Colton stood up and walked up to Jax.
"Jax, Before you woke up, I already told everyone. Were all going with you." A smile grew on Jax face.
"Before we go to the Main Universe, let's have fun at the park, like sports." Colton said nervously.
"Sounds cool." Wayne agreed. Everyone agreed.
"Well then lets go!" Colton yelled excited.

  They all walked to the park. Colton and Jax played soccer, Cosmo and Wayne were on Wayne's laptop, and Jarred was learning more about Jax from Alton.
"Do you mind if I talk to Jax real quick?" Jarred asked. Alton nodded. Jarred walked over to Colton and Jax.
"Jax can I talk to you real quick?" Jax looked at Colton.
"Go ahead." Colton said.

  Jarred and Jax walked down the tree path.
"So, whats your deal with me?" Jarred asked.
"You ask a lot of questions."
"Just asking."
"I don't have a problem, I'm just very protective of Colton, He's like a brother to me." Jax said. They stopped walking.
"What did your father actually say?" Jarred asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"I am fully aware of when someone isn't telling the truth. There is more to the story isn't there?" Jarred said trying to get Jax to tell him.
"There's nothing I have to tell you about him." Jax said.
"So your dad didn't say there's something wrong with me." Jarred said with a smirk. Jax threw him up against a tree.
"How the fuck did you know that?"Jax asked frustrated.
"I have my ways, just know I love your best friend, and I won't let him get hurt." Colton saw them and ran over.
"What the hell Jax!" Colton yelled pulling him off Jared.
"Look Colton, make sure he doesn't bring up my father again." Jax said angry. He walked back to the park and sat next to Cosmo and Wayne.
"Are you okay Jax?" Wayne asked.
"Tonight you guys meet me back here, and bring your equipment." Jax got up and went over to Alton.
"Come here." Jax said kissing Alton.
"What's that for?" She asked.
"You know I love you. If anything happens to me or your brother, look for us, and look out for Jarred." Jax said. He kissed Alton once more and went back to the house. 

Later that night when everyone was sleeping, Jax got up quietly, and went to Wayne and Cosmo's room's. They walked to the park, and sat at one of the picnic tables.
"So what do you need?" Wayne asked.
"Wayne, I need you to look up all the information you can find on Jarred .S. Johnson, Then, we can find out who this guy really is." Jax explained.
"Jax, why do you want to know anything about him?" Cosmo asked.
"Well, earlier when Jarred asked me too walk with him, he knew about the conversation me and dad had about him."
"What did dad say about Jarred?"
"Dad said that, there's something wrong with him. I don't know what could be wrong with him, but I know he is messed up for bringing up our dad."
"Hey Cosmo, Jax, I found something." Wayne said. On his computer was a bunch of Jarred's background information.
"It say's, he's a kidnapper, and is wanted in several states." Wayne continued.
"Is that what dad meant?" Jax asked.
"It's a possibility." Cosmo said. They kept searching for a while, until Jax looked up. He saw Jarred walking towards them.
"What do you want Jarred? Jax asked.
"Can I talk to you, and this time I will not mention your dad."
"You just did, but ok." Jarred looked at everyone. He acted like he didn't know what they were doing.
"You guys go home, We'll talk about mom later." Jax said, and winked at them. They put all there stuff away, and went home.
"So why do you keep wanting to talk to me."
"I know what you were talking about, what did you find out about me?" Jarred asked.
"You are Jarred .S. Johnson, born in Charleston, South Carolina, and you are wanted in Several states for kidnapping."
"That's pretty good," Jarred started. He leaned towards Jax and said, "Listen, I need you to be my little assistant, and if you say no, I will kill the little family you have left." Jax looked at Jarred. He hesitated for a second,
"Fine, just don't hurt my family." They shook hands and walked back to the house.
