It had been a year since they got into the new universe. Jax had been going to therapy ever since his arm healed. Other than that, everything was perfect. A little to perfect for Jax.

It was 1:00 a.m. Jax was staring at the ceiling. Something didn't feel right. He remembered what his dad said.
"Maybe he was right. Maybe there is something wrong with Jarred." He thought. As he sat up from his bed, Alton woke up.
"Are you okay?" She asked. Jax turned around and looked at Alton.
"Um, yeah, I just, I-" Jax had trouble trying to make up something.
"When you can't tell me instantly then there's something wrong, tell me." Alton said demanding an answer.
"Can I get Colton real quick?"
"Sure." Jax ran to Colton and Jarred's room.
"Hey Colton can you come here real quick." Jax asked.
"Ha, I was just about to." Colton answered.

They went to the living room.
"You guys want a drink?" Colton asked. Jax nodded.
"No thanks ," Alton said
"Now Jax, what is wrong." Colton asked handing the drink to him.
"Huh, right, I was thinking about what my dad said."
"What did he say?" Alton asked.
"He said 'If I stay any longer, I would be failing my mission, its your turn Jax.' I need to go back and complete my mission for my dad." Jax explained. Colton looked at Jax with a confused look.
"Jax, you don't have to-"
" Yes I do Colton, you don't know what it's like, to find out that your dad is alive, after 10 years, then dies after 10 minutes. I have to do this, not just for me, for Cosmo." Jax said cutting Colton off. Colton and Alton looked at Jax with shook. Jax continued.
"I-I'm sorry, I just can't sleep at night without the thought of my father in my head."
"We fully understand." Alton said.
"Look Jax, I know you want to go alone, but we can't lose you. In the morning, we'll all talk about this." Colton said. Colton and Alton got up and walked out the room. Colton stopped and gave Jax a hug.
"Try to get some sleep, alright?" He said. Jax nodded and put his head on the table.
