Try Harder

Chapter 3: Explanation

When They all woke up, Jax walked in to the kitchen frustrated.
"Jax, what's wrong, you seem tense?" Alton asked. Jax ignored her. He grabbed the bottle of milk from the fridge.
"Jax, What's wrong?!" Colton asked. Jax threw the milk bottle on the ground, and ran out the room. Jarred quietly chuckled.
"I'll go talk to him." Jarred said. He walked out the kitchen to Jax's room.
"Hey, wanna talk?" He said closing the door. Jax turned in his chair.
"Cheer up bud, I have a job for you. Help me, kidnap Colton. Then, your off the hook."
"Fuck off." Jax said frustrated.
"But, you'll still do it. No matter what." Jarred chuckled.
"Could - Could you have Colton come in here?" Jax asked.
"Sure." Jarred walked out the room to get Colton. Colton walked in the room and shut the door behind him. He sat on the bed, and folded his hands.
"What was that all about in the kitchen?" Colton asked. Jax stood up and sat next to Colton.
"Colton, I have to tell you something, and I know you'll get angry if I do"
"You can tell me anything, what is it?"
"J - Jarred is not who you think he is." Jax started.
"Yeah, he's great."
"N - yeah, he - he's great." Jax stuttered. He couldn't tell Colton, he knew it could ruin their friendship.

Later that day, Jax, and Alton decided to "Go out shopping".They got in the car.
"Alright where are we actually going?" Jax asked.
"To a secret place I have." Alton answered. Jax raised his eyebrows in concern, and put his head on the window.
"Don't worry, It's not that far away." Alton said, and turned on some music.

When they got to the place, Jax looked around in confusion. There where candles, and flower pedals, and a couch.
"What is this place?" He asked
"A place I picked up when I was driving a few months ago." Alton said. Jax nodded.
"So, why are we here?"
"For this" Alton said kissing Jax.
"What was that for?"
"We haven't had alone time in a while." Jax smirked. Alton pushed him on to the Couch, and got on top of him.
"Nothing to crazy alright?" Jax said
She leaned in to kiss him, and they made out for a couple of minutes. After they were done, she sat next to him and asked what happened in the kitchen. The one question he didn't want to here.
"I just woke up thinking about dad." He said. Alton hugged him and they stayed there for a while, and went home.
